I grow all kinds of beautiful hybrids of daylilies. I can't wait to pick one this summer and attempt to draw it. I am just starting to learn botanical drawing and I want to start learning from you. I am learning blending techniques right now and can't seem to decide which ones work best when I blend colored pencils and I often use two different kinds of pencils (Faber Castell mixed with Holbeins) and I add the watercolor pencils as well and spatter when I'm done with Inktense. It seems when I blend that color can be lost and I am hoping one day an artist of your caliber will do a detailed video of all the blending techniques and how best to employ them, especially with botanical drawings. I am very confused and have a nursing degree and no art education other than TH-cam videos. I love your work and am waiting for one of your books to come in the mail any day now!
