      yeah it's really handy when you're boxed in and you don't think you have anywhere to go. Did you try mission 5 yet? It's one of my favorites because of how sand boxy it is

    20:33 - you say you're only gonna hit the sentry on a '4'. But he's in hard cover; doesn't that mean you'll only hit him on a '6'? [Edit]: Looking at the modifiers, it seems that Operators are not penalised when shooting at Axis units in cover. Is that right?

      there are a couple of really small changes (the How to Play came out before the Kickstarter) but it's 99% the same. Changes are detailed in the description

    Hi Rob. Terrific game and a nice walkthrough but I'm confused about the ending @ 24:56. Could you have continued in the next operation phase and moved directly into the room with Anders without a final shootout? Or was the shootout shown as another alternative to end the game. Was I missing something?

      yeah exactly that, I did some shooting just to show the mechanics, I could have just moved into the room to end the mission

    24:04 That guard who Advances between the rocks and the hedges - is that a one-AP move there; he doesn't have to climb the hedge? Damn, I must have missed that; that same corner in Mission 4 I was always doing the 'climb' action to get through there.

      Only during the stealth section. During the battle section you remove them as they don’t really factor into gameplay. I just like placing them to show what’s happened in a turn :)

      not in the battle section, they serve no purpose so we remove them every end phase

    Why does the alert level increase by 1 if the first gunshot was out of earshot?

      All gunshots move the stealth meter. Being out of earshot just means no axis units alert

      Earshot really means close enough to pinpoint where the gunshot came from with reasonable accuracy. A gunshot will travel a long way but will be impacted by terrain,buildings, echoes etc. Think fireworks, one going off within a few streets vs one half a mile away.

    Hi, thank you for the videos. Really appreciate them.
    At 9:00 when you go into the forest, you mention the two units to the right won't have LOS to you, is that because the patrols LOS is blocked by the sentry, and the sentry's LOS goes through a forest space before getting to the space Jock is on? Just wondering as he is on the edge of the forest not crouched.
    At 18:45 you move out the building and throw a grenade. And at 19:35 you mention the attack was made in LOS of the guy directly opposite you. So he will shoot you. Has reaction fire changed? I was under the impression that reaction fire was after the second action you are seen. So in this example, it seems you have done a move + attack. Then the axis has done a reaction shot against you? Just wanted a little more clarification on reaction shots.
    Also again at 25:13 you move to the window, and proceed to shoot the unit at the other window. And as you missed for example purposes, the unit shoots back. Wouldn't he shoot after your next action? Also, wouldn't the guard 2 squares to the left, and 1 square up from the guy you attempted to shoot at also take a reaction shot as he has LOS to you at the window?
    As previously said, it's just to clarify how the reaction shots work, thank you.

      9:00 that's right
      18:45 the first time an operator carries out an action within LOS of an alert unit he gets shot. It's because the unit is already alert, if he wasn't the first action would alert him & he would attack on the second.
      25:13 As above, the unit is already alert so shoots on the first action.

      only if they are "blind" (target square is not within LOS)

    Really disappointed I didn’t see this when on crowd funding. How much is coming to retail and what will I miss out on not getting it when it was funding?
    I’m a huge commandos fan. This is right up my alley.

      It’s heading into retail right now. There were some KS exclusives but they will be available on future kickstarters 😀

    Bonjour des la seconde carte vous faites une erreur car on diminue la futivite de 1 avec la cloche donc vous passez à 4.
