  • So, rather than waiting for a new servo extension lead or a roll of 3 core servo cable, I improvise and make my own from old parts... I never throw away old parts in case I can scavenge parts from them.

I found this video very interesting, I know that ya can take the male end off but I've always wanted to know how they can be made.
Wasn't expecting a video like this,
    Keep them coming T!

It comes in handy for all kinds of JST connectors in electronic projects I do. 😎
And I've bought lots of different tools just to use once. 🤪

Teri.... I NEED one of those Crimpers!! I've got Electrical Tools, but can't find that Servo Wire Crimper anywhere (in the U.S.).
Making custom length Wires of all types, makes everything so much neater.
    Excellent presentation! 👍👍

XT60 Connectors ARE overkill for these Trucks, but since I've a surplus from Crawlers and Racing Buggies, it's a no extra cost option for me. 😉

@@CarminesRCTipsandTricks I use EC3 on all my stuff which is still overkill but better than Deans in my opinion because you can solder them with just a hot air torch.
The crimp tool should be found on eBay, search for < SN01BM Terminal Crimping Tool For Dupont PH2.0 XH2.54 KF2510 AMG28-20 JST >
I got mine from China for about $25

      Thanks!! I'll check it out.
I MELTED a set of Deans, drawing only 50 amps in my Axial Wraith! 😲 That was the end of Deans for me.
