In this solo episode, Jerry works through Peter Stoner's classic thought exercise (in Science Speaks) in which he estimates the probability of one man fulfilling eight Old Testament prophecies regarding the Messiah.
He stole a donkey to deliberately fulfull a prophecy, if you are deliberately doing things to fulfill prophecy then by definition you are a fraud.
Indeed. The myths were written specifically to fit what the writers believed were prophesies, but they got many of them wrong. Heck, the writers did not even know the difference between someone born in Nazareth (which at the time only existed as a grave site) and a Nazarene. None of the myths about Iesus claim he was a Nazareth: he was therefore not the promised teacher. Of course he also did not build an army and defeat Rome either--- ergo not the promised teacher.
