Well this was really popular, thanks for the interest in 6-Ball! Let me guess... you're here because you want to master 6-Ball? Practice is all you need but some extra advice could be useful! Basic tips at the start and live games with commentary at the end :) th-cam.com/video/kCFJnq-ylfs/w-d-xo.html
I have tips too. -This game is similar to castle clearout (mario party 9). If you played that, apply the same knowledge here and practice on that game against master cpu (no hard drop) -There are five colors. Take that into account when clearing combos. -Use a horizontal line to cut off combos (ex. A line that clears to make a pyramid when a certain ball falls) Also works with diagonal lines, but that’s harder. -Focus more on making pyramids and hexagons, and try to steer your attention to more than one combo to quickly send another wave of garbage -Try and utilize your space in a way where you can recover from falling garbage (i.e. using a flat surface or making diagonal lines as a backup) One last note, this game is my most favorite in the collection of games in clubhouse games. Gotta say, though, hit and blow is a close second.
Hey YoloYester, you’ve made some good points and clearly you share the same interest in the game, which is great! (There’s not many people I know that like to compete in 6-Ball) My thoughts: I recognised Castle Clearout straight away but never played that game nearly as much as 6-Ball. Never knew about no hard drop being a good idea so I’ll have to look into the differences for this game. The main thing I only touched on in the guide video was combos, I could’ve made 5 colours clearer but as I mentioned it wasn’t a definitive guide especially without the combos. You can get an optimal Master speedrun without extra long combos (it does come down to RNG when you’re at perfect play), 2 hexagons + handicap pretty much finishes the CPU. Obviously against a human (both with lots of 6-Ball knowledge/experience) is a completely different beast, you would need those long combos. Horizontal line combo is a great tip, it never crossed my mind - if I make a part 2 this will definitely be a main point (clearly I’ll give you credit). I’ll mention vertical as well, but again it’s useful if you’re playing the long game. I do make it a clear point of hexagons and pyramids being superior for garbage, evident in this speedrun as well (apart from the quick line at the start which could’ve been a pyramid but didn’t matter) I do use the flat surface idea to recover my field after garbage but don’t think I mentioned it - another good one for a part 2. It’s pretty obvious you’re not new to this type of game so if anyone can push for an optimal time it’s you. Good luck if you give it a shot!
Thank you! I have to admit, that chain was extremely lucky and fell into place, but that's all you need! I'm uploading a 6-Ball guide soon as it's been highly requested so hopefully people will contest my runs!
Thanks Whizkid! I've seen a few people compare me to the Impossible CPU already so I'm hoping the guide makes the game a lot more consistent for people!

This is the real important part
MidiPlayz thanks for the feedback! I might try but unfortunately I have crappy methods of recording and using split timers (my pc is slow.)
Man that chain in the last game was insane. Great run!

Seeing you breeze through the impossible cpu like it was nothing after struggling on it for so long is insane to me, GG!

I wish they would make this a game all its own. This could create Tetris levels of hype in competitive settings
I have a feeling I can beat this record, or get sub 10 mins without the ‘cap
Is it me or the video got black screen midway?
I beat impossible without handicap. With handicap its so boring man…
i know, but handicap is faster :p
Get good scrub
what
i agree
