      Not to mention the workers are immigrants. They have them in schools as EAs and it’s really awful because many of the kids with special needs already have language barriers.

    There is no such thing as 10 dollar per day day care the government is paying the difference, and we know how much government know about cost. Also I work with people where both parents are working for the government making about 200000 between them and I am paying for their childrenn to have day care so they can go on vacations during the winter. At the very least this day care should be on a sliding scale those who make less pay less, those make more pay more but not 10$ per day.
