@denny, I guess I could say the same. I could think of 13-18 Billion reasons it would make us stronger. Not only that we no longer would be serf for eastern Canada and move away from socialism and it’s obvious negatives not to mention liberal governments that are never elected by us. I literally could come up with thousands of positives . If you are an Albertan and have had family here since the start of the 1900s you would see there is a bigger picture.

Those Canada Post workers are in a weak position. Low volume paper mail and increasing competition for package delivery "which, they dont want to do" & farm out as much as possible. Canada Post themselves says their "business model is not sustainable? Ok so WT? Your saying essentially that you expect tax players to pay for nothing and tack that onto our children's dept.
Careful what you wish for? If "Canada Post" falls, the cost of shipping parcels will go up higher than the private couriers charge now.
The high paid management needs to go! Also, the federal government has been trying to destroy "Canada Post" for decades. Don't fall the the government propaganda.
