Ive been dialing into super fasting cooldowns and ability spam with Cold Blooded as i dont have absolute-Zero yet. Viessa can completely annihilate certain bosses. she just always hits those walls in situations where enemies are resistant to chill. At that point she becomes support, at best.
@@kingcurmudgeon8685 Yeah I tried that build and ran into the same issues. It's also heavily reliant on hitting your crits and not burning up your mana before it's dead. This hits really hard you can easily take off huge chunks on bosses if they aren't strong chill resist.
Cold blooded is the way to go and super fun. All her skills already hit hard and with the maximum cool down and range her 1 are instance, deletes mob instantly and 3 for cleanup. I have 12k HP and 18k defense and have never went down on any bosses. Cast a 4 with my secret garden, quick work. Never ran her for colossi though. How are any one running into mana problems when tons are dropped every where.
Not so bad even if you need a lot of crit, I still think it’s not optimal. I’ll probably put all in singularity/ice power to get back the few power lost by the ultimate version. Still think the normal version with cold blooded is a bit better tho and way less reliant on crit chances
It really isn't even comparable, this always works and is more damage. I'm not sure how its calculating the 30% damage but I like it. These Gold and Red modules are very odd, sometimes they don't work and other times they do completely unexpected things. I'm testing it again right now it seems like the damage isn't consistent, sometimes Ambush does a higher tick sometimes it is way less. Previously it was about 10% less damage, I'll have to run it for a few hours in different content to get a good dataset. Dummy is mixed on which is winning, sometimes the ambush clearly wins. Against bosses the multitalented is clearly the winner. I wonder if the dummies are considered always unaware of you?
My only question for you is Why not use the Polar External Components set? And swap out one of your mods for Emergency Measures. Get up to roughly 50% crit chance and then abusing the Polar sets "Max HP" Damage.
@@galixeesgrotto5805 I do run 2 piece polar and a third crit module in place of increased hp. You definitely feel far less survivable though so posting that variant or the boss kill variant might end up with people being unhappy with the build due to that. It's all personal preference at that point the build itself is a blueprint to show the damage and durability levels of this specific variant. Edit: You want to run the blue crit damage mod over the second purple crit mod, it's far more damage. You'll lose approx 10,000 HP making the switch and HP collector will be about half as effective due to percentage based gains. Polar night isn't a huge damage increase but it's worth using if you can farm out the right rolls. If you replace a combination of Aux power, sensor, or processor with a decent roll you'll only lose about 500HP.
Hey there! I appreciate you sharing your build for Viessa. I noticed that it focuses on a mix of HP, cooldown, skill power, crit chance, crit damage, range, and healing. It seems like this setup is tailored to your personal playstyle, which is cool. However, I think it could be more effective with some adjustments. For instance, relying heavily on your firearm might work for you, but it limits the build's potential, especially when it comes to boss fights. You mentioned in the comments that you don't farm bosses, so it's hard to benchmark this build's performance. From my experience, this setup might struggle to take down bosses quickly, even with a fully built Thundercage or Python that aren't optimized properly. To improve the build, you might consider focusing more on specific areas like crit chance and damage with skill power, depending on what you want to achieve. This way, you can maximize Viessa's strengths and handle tough challenges more effectively. Thanks for sharing, and I hope these suggestions help!
I've been toying with the blue crit damage card since I built it, but you lose something major for it like HP collector, defense, or range. I would likely just use Gley for a dedicated boss character as she doesn't care about resistances that would kill even a full crit Viessas damage. There are no meaningful base damage cards to add that aren't on the build already besides crit, she does poorly with modifiers. I am working on a gun build that should easily destroy any boss on any character and should have it ready for final dps numbers tomorrow.

@@Brasshound480 Agreed on this, and lot of people talking about it on Reddit, atm not a lot of people reached that state of the game, but for those that are well advanced it's really a big problem...I've left my Ult Gley in the closet because I built her on Infinite ammo build and it locked me so much into it that I got annoyed not to be able to experiment more. Question- If all of your skills are singular now, wouldn't you want to use mods like Focus on Singular, or Singular Master? I'm interested to know if that makes a positive or negative impact on the build, or nothing at all
@@drogon2988 I thought that as well but her modifiers are so high that a maxed out module like focus on singular would only increase damage by about 4%. She basically relies on raw skill power and critical. I use a purple reactor normally but a gold one would be a huge skill damage increase. Also swapping one HP mod for increased skill critical damage is a monster boost as well. It really depends on how you want to play.
