Spotlight Series Woody Mattel Toy Story

Waiting for a while and we we finally got Spotlight series 01 Woody from Toy Story, this has been pushed back and delayed, its made by Mattel. Hopefully they sell these to local retailers so far we have only been able to buy it at Mattel creation. Its definitely a level up from your regular Mattel action figures. It has several articulation, you swap his head and hands, it comes with a stand a woody round up back drop a concept art and his hat. Also his clothes are made of fabric it makes woody more authentic but the only draw back is that having cloth fabric reduces his articulation on his arms and legs. Mattel is finally leveling up there toy story action figs , a lot better than the entry level woody they have , more possable ! Its kind of hard to get though

I just pre-ordered mine. I had gotten Kevin and Wall-E and am a big fan so far. Unfortunately because the pandemic the release of these were badly affected. But can’t wait for mine to arrive. Tonight I grabbed a couple Disney “mini brands” and lucked beyond out because of the two I got, I had both Woody and Jessie. After getting those two I went to see if Woody was available yet. Crazy prices everywhere! Lol. Mattel website has him for $40 and saw $70 to $90+ from eBay and other sites!
Anyways, I’m excited for him. Fun seeing you explore all his features. I actually had no idea it was real clothing! That’s impressive! Even with printed fabric, it’s so rare for anything to have real clothes let alone for them to look so good. I was so happy with Wall-E and how poseable he is and expressive and all the included accessories. Got Kevin when saw her on Mattel surprisingly available for a while and was amazed how much you can pose her. Also her kids are insanely goofy looking and cute and fuzzy!

Awesome you got yours on pre order. Yeah I believe you right that pandemic messed a lot of things, I’m surprise its still not available at local stores we figured by this time it should be out, that’s why we have resellers selling it for a lot. I really think you’re going to like him Mattel has stepped up their woody action figure I don’t mind a paying little more for better articulation and design. The cloth was a nice touch the only downside is that it affects his movement , also it would’ve been nice if they made his eyes move as well, we just recently bought a dynamic action hero woody, that has a little bit more features. But overall I’m glad Mattel leveled up, hopefully they release buzz toooo we can’t wait!
