  • This is a video tutorial on how to make polymer clay Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Pie Earrings!
    For making it I used polymer clay (for pie's filling I mixed mint polymer clay with translucent clay, for whipped cream - white clay with translucent clay, for chocolate chip - brown clay with translucent polymer clay), Sculpey liquid polymer clay, french hook ear wires, silicone molds, matte and satin varnishes for coating.

    That was fun to watch and I loved the music choice. I just became obsessed with realistic food jewelry and bought too much to admit to. It’s interesting to see that it is actually baked and how texture is applied. If I had the space, I’d love to do this. Thanks for sharing the magic.

      @@polinacreations7729 awe I’m sure you’ll get more traction soon! You deserve it! I actually went out and bought an entire new arsenal of clay and resin today so I am going to be using your tutorials with my own spin!

    I know this is an older video but I just came across it now. I’m wondering how you secure the eye pin in? I had another pair where the earring slipped out of the eye pin while I was wearing them, even though it was baked with it in.

      Sure 🙂 should I concentrate in some specific tools? Would you like to see displayed tools I use in my studio most of the time or something else?

      I mixed green with white, a lot of translucent, and a bit of blue clay (if needed).🍰

    what is the ration of mint+tranlucent and brown+translucent ?

    • @polinacreations7729
      @polinacreations7729  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for the late reply! If I make the pastry, I prefer adding a lot of translucent (of course, it depends on the project): about 30-50% brown and 70-50% translucent clay. And the same with the filling (green part).🍰🍰🍰
