This Durban mod takes a classic South African icon in the form of a Mk1 VW Golf and turns it into an R32-engined beat with a host of other modifications.
The Mk1 Golf was sold in SA right up until 2009 gaining cult classic status among regular commuters and also the tuning market. The saying goes 'There's always a Golf 1 that can beat you in a drag race'.
