I just set my Miller 250 to 85-90 and do a quick weave with no hesitation. It gives me a slight undercut on the edge that fills as I go . Everyone is different, but I pass the x-ray
X-ray just shows clean 👌🏽👍🏽
That’s all that matters
@@downhilldaddy5282 at 62 I can't believe these younger kids around the shop don't know how to do anything but squeeze a trigger.

Mind blown 🤯 Thx! I was always taught to break down my beveled edges with my fill pass but I would always lose my lines doing that. Thx so much!
Don’t touch them until you’re ready for the cap!
Saved this vid to my welding file. Thx!
Proud to be there!
This right here is a very helpful video.
Also earliest I've ever been to a video!
Sweet! I’m glad you liked it!
Well done! 🔥👨🏾🏭
Thank you!
Great tips and info🤘🤘
I remember welding pipe with an old tumb stone Lincoln lol these new welders are insane
Good explanation
Appreciate you!
Cool video 👌
Nice video
staying in the bevel till the cap is important but I have always justified it with the recognition that when you break down that hard edge early in the procedure it makes it more difficult to see during follow up passes.
Fact: That man who ask question is from Philippines. And 90% of Filipino Welders dreaming getting a job across the world and im one of it.
I hope i can make it soon.
Good.
Great!
Is that an argon quick connect? Did that machine come with that quick connect?
I have 50€ device from AliExpress but i never was able to stick to
Metal piece together because the glue works better than that welding what i made…by the way I don’t know why each time the electrode sticks to the metal ..
Its a good video but dont forget that QC wont buy caps with stringers wider than 3 times the diameter Of the rod
Please do a 7018 cap in position, I need help on dead man's curve
All of these rules apply. It’s a lot to do with arc length. I have another tutorial in position inside the weld app.
Great video! Any chance you could do a 1G open root butt weld video 1/8 6010 root 1/8 7018 fill on 3/8 plate. I have been really struggling with the root. Do you have any good ways to practice this?
Make sure your putting landings on your open root plates so there’s something the metal can land on with the root pass. I prefer 3/32 landing. If it’s a job your practicing for, the gap and landing might be fixed to something else on the WPS.
Stronger or weave. 🤔
Would you be interested in doing a review of my custome respirator. So every welder can afford one and the filters are cheap but still 99% filtration with carbon filter
Everlast é muito bom. Quero ter um 275 mas não sei se vendem para o Brasil.
I’m sure it’s world wide!
Obrigado por responder! E você consegue me ajudar comprar um 275?
@@nairoluiz3937 let me ask my friends at everlast!
To all want to be welders. Forget about stick unless all you want to do is pipe. Pipe is a small majority of welding and mostly only used for pipe and deck welding (you don't want to be a decker either).
What? Don’t give advice bud you obviously aren’t qualified to. Smaw is used all over and pipe pays the best most of the time.
Oh I’ve been welding 25 years and have never heard of a “decker”
@@notanymore9471 ….Then you have obviously never been on a structural steel job and must be a piper. This is why I say unless you just plan on doing pipe forget about stick.
Deckers put the decking down for the concrete to be poured for the floors.
@@calikalbocalikalbo6082 nope try again.

Hey chick, guess what I forgot more about Welding then you’ll ever learn in your life. I was a welder fabricator for 24 years and I’ve been a CWI for 20 years. I live in Japan as a Welding consultant for major companies in the US, so yeah, I think I know a little more than you. Yes, I know pipe is done around the world and it’s also the oldest and easiest welding technique of all and it’s only used primarily on pipe small brain.

Too many adjustment on that green thing, ya just need amps and maybe arc force...
get rid of the music thanks
