I will listen to this one in a bit. I just got on here to say I just became a member to your channel and this is the first channel I've ever 'joined' on TH-cam, ever. 😊
Awesome! I LOVE the emojis. Keep doing what you do and I'll keep supporting your channel as much as I can. I've told you before (you're probably tired of me saying it on here) that your channel makes a difference in my life.
Oh word cool to see you do this story. I always thought the unnatural elements (not trying to spoil) at the end of the story were kind of out of place and detract a little but apparently Nabokov thought it was the greatest Russian short story ever written so what do I know. Really cool to see you do a Russian story, I think Dostoevsky and others have some really solid short stories.
@@pgyws5137 This story was very good and I really enjoy reading Russian stories. I think they fit my niche pretty well. Definitely more to come. And I agree, it was almost like it was too much realism and he had to balance it out.
Great choice. We're reading Kafka's The Trial along with this piece in my Masters Lit class. Strange, funny, sad, and beautiful all at once.
