Ranger main here! As someone who sticks to Rifle/Launcher multiweapons, the changes are satisfying. This refresh is so, so good. There's still room for more improvement, obviously, but this is a real win. The video breakdown as a visual guide to the notes helps people like me who understand better from seeing with the notes rather than just reading them. Thank you. It's a good time to be a living Bullet Hell. Rangers and Gunners deserve the love. One thing that makes this update a real stunner is how ranger PAs now ACTUALLY visually display CV weapon camo changes. No more useless CV camos applied still having blue photon attacks as if it isn't equiped!
I have to say the new effects on the weapons are quite appealing by looks of it haven't really played the game in a good world since the anti cheat update came in but hopefully one day I'll be able to jump back in again and check out all the new stuff that's been added content hope I haven't missed out on much And congratulations on becoming a pso2 official content creator great to see how much you have grown I hope one day wants I'm back in the game I'll be able to catch up with you❤

There's a strong chance that I might just be bad with TMG, but it's never felt good or fun to gain height for hitting a Dustyl's weak points, especially when every other close-range class having a vertical gap-closer baked into their PAs. All of these changes look great, I wanna get back into using Gunner again.
No you are absolutely correct about TMG's having poor vertical movement, even despite it being an airborne class! Double Rising Drive & Point Blank make it a lot better for gaining/maintaining height in combat than previously. Rising Drive didn't need to have it's reduced height gain when 'no lock-on' is available though imo! 😅
Last year,I left as a launcher main.Soloing world map Halvaldi with meh equipment,nothing else I wanted to do.I wonder how much NGS has changed since Halvaldi's arrival.
A lot of QoL changes has happened since the release of Halvadi. This Ranger & Gunner expansion update was one of those! A new 4 player Dark Falz Aegis, new 10* Weapons & 9* Armors have been added to the game very recently, as well as various cool updates to the Kvaris Region! Other major things such as Fixa Adjustments, add random fixa preset lvl 1 (Weekly exchange x3), Rare drop rate boosters 100% (Weekly Exchange x10) & various campaign boosts have been really great additions for gearing & loot gains! There's a lot more massive changes planned to come for the next couple of months, so I definitely recommend keeping an eye out!

I still find Launcher needs adjustments, particularly with it's guard frame durations & animation locks. Gunner has some really nice additions like it's Point Blank's changes & Chain Finish Party PP Gain, but I'm not entirely satisfied with the quantity of changes. The class needs a lot more work done to move the needle in my opinion!
im just curious, how to perform better evade when using launcher, because what i feel, when multiple attack come, somehow the evade stuck, any advice to perform better evade?
Launcher is a bit tough to use in these situations because of the heavy animation locks on the end of PA's! The only advice for this will be understanding the contact timings on enemy attacks, utilising positioning/distance to your advantage, as well as making use of the Guard Frames that the PA's provide.

I keep seeing people set that floor bomb attack almost every second, I tried everytime on ranger my girl never does it. How do you do it? I'm a bomb that hovers above the floor, the enemy enter it's area it explodes the bomb
You can place or throw the 'Rifle Grenadier' skill by holding the weapon action input with or without using your directional input. (Rifle Weapon Action) - Hold without directional input = Grenade Trap - Hold with a directional input = Grenade Throw The skill 'Rifle Grenadier Quick Reload' allows you to reduce the cooldown of Rifle Grenadier for successfully dodging using the weapon action. A great scenario of placing or throwing multiple grenades will be succesfully dodging multiple incoming enemy attacks, or a single attack that continously hit an area.

@@MasterMkp I got it now. My land bombs literally be detonating every second in game. It never ceases to amaze me how stupid the monsters are in game. As a player that really enjoys setting traps bombs inside the videogames I'm as happy like a , super perky pretty little cheerleader in pink
I'm completely satisfied with the Ranger improvements! They all look and feel great, and I even want to use Launcher again. But I dunno maybe it's because I fell out of love with gunner when moving from base to NGS, I'm not feeling the updates it got. Party pp share on chain finish is really nice but I was kinda hoping for a basic chain trigger for subclass use or some exclusive rifle skills. You know, finally having a reason to use gunner as a sub besides PP Regen (which force already does better if you aren't doing it to use the weapons your subclass offers)
Definitely agree Ranger is looking really good in this update! The new skill for Gunner is a very cool addition for party play, but should have also had additional benefits for the user. Rifle exclusive skills is also one of the things I really want to see too! Gunner still needs a lot more work done!

I love how flashy all of rangers PAs look now. Imo rangers rifle PB doesnt look as impactful visual wise

Yes! Fighter is also planned to have an class update! Fighter Class Expansion is scheduled for June - July!
