Same, i lost my dad too in 2017. He loved guitar, taught me guitar, i remember going to a furniture store with my dad and John Mayer was playing this song live on one of the TVs, we sat admiring in the middle of the store.. this song is dear to me too. ✨

Very well improvisation of notes and chords and technique used to play in this one. Gotta admit it, i love Johns music since the beginning of his career and he's one of the best guitarists of all time without a doubt and my all time favorite artist. But, I prefer this version over original. Good to hear only guitar 🎸 with little reverb. Very soothing. Perfect cover. 👏🏻👍🏻
