same here I love the game so much as a kid but I was scared of it at the same time the intro scared me senseless when I was a kid and I was also afraid of Despero he looks creepy as hell especially when he made that noise when he tries to grab you or whatever sounds like he was saying YEAH in a deep demon-like voice that's the best way I can describe it

Amazing as the graphics and intro was ,alot of us comic nerds were sooo disappointed this was a fighting game and not a side scrolling adventure. I rented it because it was so expensive , like 15% to 30% more than other cartridge games at that time.
I was impressed by JLTF at time. At least Capcom's MSH came out and show how a Street Fighter of Super Heroes must be. Also i think that Brainiac and Grodd could be better choices for sub bosses.
I really harmte this... this was my first "Blizzard" game I have ever played. I wish it was Warcraft 2 or Starcraft. Nope, it was this. AND I loved every minute of it!
Superman's powers: Incredibly fast, can fly, can shoot heat rays from his eyes, body so hard it can stop a bullet. Flash's only special power: incredibly fast. Flash and Superman fight. Flash wins.
I think the Genesis version is better than the SNES & IMO the only reason you picked Flash is because tonight was a new EPISODE of the FLASH TV SHOW! I was very STUNNED on what happened & found out who The Monster SAVITOR REALLY IS! The Internet is GOING CRAZY on this bit! It's all over Twitter & the article is on Comicbook.com! I remember playing this game years ago & I loved it! I've always had trouble facing the last 3 bosses of the game but the 1player vs CPU mode was always GLORIOUS to me!
Well, it's a mixed bag on both platforms and you have to look at it from different perspectives in order to properly judge which is better. To be fair, both are thoroughly mediocre. Also, don't refer to them as "versions" as they are completely different games from different developers.

When my sister and I were little, we would ALWAYS say the dialogue in the intro EVERY time we would play this game.
