When I saw these straight ways and gentle curves I knew yellow eye would do well. He can slalom and sprint, but its the hairpin that he never seems to find the right line for.
It's really getting depressing watching the Green Ducks struggle. I'm always hopeful that they are gonna pick it up but the quali always seems to go wrong. Makes raceday a tough place when they've got to try to advance through the field. #LetsGoGreenDucks

It does help that we used Smoggy for two weeks in a row- THIS is far more his kind of course with the long final section being his strong point. Hazy can turn on the speed, but he is vulnerable to spinning of corners and losing momentum. If we stay in the points I will be happy.

@@pipster1891 we have NEVER been a strong team. Hazers power alone is straight speed. Tracks with heavy, tight, corners, we tend to lose speed. Acceleration is not as fast as others... But it's when we get time to build up speed that we go insane. Hazy has won medals and Smoggy has one M1's based on this simple fact... Give us a long straight and watch us fly.
Been waiting for this one. Yellow Eye has always preformed better on high speed, stamina driven tracks and unfortunately he got stuck with the contact heavy technical courses early on this season. Glad to see him get his moment to shine.
I agree, he needs to learn more from red eye on navigating tight, hairpin turns and difficult terrain. But give yellow eye clean air and a straightaway and he will out sprint a savage speeder.
Yellow Eye absolutely spectacular in that qualifying. After the first two sectors of his lap, I thought he might not qualify in the top ten and then the third sector clicked and he was in a class of his own in the sprint race. His pace was extraordinary. Looking forward to seeing if he can do the business on Sunday - Red Eye has better racecraft but Yellow Eye could just slaughter the field if he gets a gap at the front
I'd be really curious to see the exact weights and sizes of the marbles to see if there's anything to explain how the Pinkies are literally ALWAYS at or near the bottom of speed events
@@sethbennett617 I don't think it's just pigment, but other construction factors like glass formulation, additional materials in the glass, surface imperfections, etc.
@@jlighter1 marbles are checked before they leave the factory. Like any other glassware they cannot leave the factory if they have an imperfection of any kind. They have robots that scan for this stuff. Marbles come out uniform.
I want to acknowledge the great work and racing we’ve been seeing from the Kolbalts recently, they are clearly a solid competitor in Marbula One and have really impressed me coming from a Marble League drought.

FOUND ROLDO!! He's hiding among the group of Bumblebees at 1:18. Look in the third hive, to the right, behind the VIP's stands and Roldo is in the middle of the honeycomb. Compare this time stamp with others of the same hive, and this is the only marble that is not only different, but is the only marble with a red stripe.
As a Crazy Cats Eyes fan, I love seeing the dominance between Red Eye and Yellow Eye. However ALL the marbles came to play today. This Grand Prix is going to be LIT!

Wow! What an amazing Q1 performance from the 2nd set of 10 marbles! Seems like they did their homework with studying the runs of Set 1 and found some great speed in S1 and S2.
A lot of people underestimating Yellow Eye. He has always been a solid competitor and just because he doesn’t always perform, he clearly is a top contender.
The GM for CCE clearly knows Yellow Eye and Red Eye pair well. Red surely gets a lot of the glory, but Yellow showed their talent last season. I'm not worried for them the season either.
I think that's partly because he's standin in the shadow of Red Eye, who's doing so well it's not even funny anymore. With a teammate like that even a solid racer like Yellow Eye appears just average...
Thunder! Good run! Got by Starry for a second, then got blocked by Royal and couldn’t make it stick. We gained spots in Q2, let’s do it again in the GP!
@@jj48 Yeah, it was a great overtake to get 5th, but was too eager to get 4th. One pro to him though, he's VERY quick. Bolt uses the terrain to his advantage over speed, Thunder's just very quick.
really impressive by the crazy cat's eyes this season! as a fan of the hazers, team galactic, and the midnight wisps, this qualification was both great and disappointing. lol we'll just have to see how things turn out in the race!

But like most things momo does, they do well at the start and then fall off at the end. Let's hope for a different story this year!
This whole qualifier was definitely a show of what some of these marbles can do when they put their eyes on the prize. Both Q1 and Q2 were great showings, had me on edge until the very end!
Sleet Street qualifying blows this out of the water, but it's still a good performance by Thunder. Hopefully it's backed up by a greater race on Sunday.
Jelle & Co. the set of the Honeydome is Top 3 easy if not the best atmosphere. The addition of the beehive, brilliant. The honeycomb stanch ions, perfection. Excellent job!
Starry is definitely incredible, but Cosmo isn't exactly horrible, sometimes they have horrible luck like last GP, have faith in Team Galactic because we always #ReachForTheStars
Cosmo did get screwed by the red flag last week. Completely messed up his rhythm after an amazing start. That said, Cosmo always seems to have one major mistake per race. Starry is just so darn consistent.
This *qualifier* alone was amazing! Holy smokes, I didn't expect such a huge time gap in Q2, much less seeing the track record broken so many times! I thought that sub-30 was going to be the *outlier* and I was proven so wrong, to my delight. I can't wait for the race!
Confidence?! That Maniac jumped right over the first barrier like its an obstacle-course, but still dominated by simply turning their breaks off, as it seemed. I think a performance like that is of someone who has an amount of confidence that might even be a lil bit tooo healthy ;D

I would love to see a track jump introduced to these races. It would add a ton of excitement and risk to the races. Clearly these marbles are fierce competitors and can handle it like the pros they are.

Really happy to see Yellow Eye catching up to the performance Red Eye has already been putting up on the board. The new mods for this year took a lot of YLI’s confidence away at the start, but hopefully this is the start of them having a handle on the settings and how they should be running.
I just signed Crazy Cats Eyes and I'm happy they will start 1st place. This makes me owner of Momo & Cats Eyes, as I sold the Green Ducks. I also have Ghost Plasma that only performs in Marble Rally.

Really enjoyed seeing the track ramp up and the lap records get smashed! Wowza! But as an O'Rangers fan I've got my head in my hands everytime Clementin competes, it's been a disaster session after session!

Brilliant qualifying, I thought Wispy was surely safe at the end of the first half, but the laptimes tumbled as the big bois delivered - and Wispy only just made Q2! Turtle Sliders seem to always qualify brilliantly, but fall back in the race - let's see if they can turn that around
The fact that only 2 marbles from the first 10 marbles got through shows how much track evolution matters. I know its the bottom 10 in the championship who always qualify at the back due to this which makes each race more predictable so it would be way more entertaining to see a random order to find out if its the teams who are good or its just the fact they always get the advantage of going last. I reccommend you try a random order because its been like this for the past few races, it would be nice to see all teams have a chance to win
Man, never thought I'd see a qualifier where sub 30 wasn't good enough for the top 10. Clemintin is letting the team down. I only hope that Clem has learned to navigate the pack this time.

This can be a good idea, however, I'm still worried about controverse because I remember the controverse about the reverse starting grid in ML2021 E16. In this case, the quali starting order shouldn't have issues who's starting first or last.
Endurance seems to be an issue, their struggling with the racing lines in every qualifying round and have little understanding to the turns resulting in abysmal qualifying runs.

It’s probably just crazy coincidence though, as Rapidly & Speedy used to be the quickest duo on the grid, and it’s not like any of the marbles have changed so it’s unusual.
I just started the Season 3 playlist after seeing one video of this incredible piece of work. Due to my YT moniker, I've been rooting for the Crazy Cat's Eyes and Red Eye is unstoppable. I really love this idea and this is definitely the best example I've come across. I'd love to know if the marbles are weighed and/or say a team of 2 could allocate 8 grams (or ideal weight) and have one weigh 3 and the other 5, to zest it up a bit and have most of the teams having different distribution of weight to give the teams/marbles more personality. I can't begin to recognize how outstanding the commentary is or I'd be writing a manifesto at some point lol, Amazing work though all around.

The gap between Clementin and Orangin is huge. Orangin is carrying the O'Rangers alone at this point.

They were so consistent last season with at least getting past qual round 1. Now they're having a hard time even competing for top 10.
It's just sad that they can't even get close to Q2. Like today they were one of the three teams that didn't finish in 30 secs

The technical racetracks had been suited for him, the break he got gave him enough time to prepare knowing this was a race he ran last season.

It all comes down to that first two sectors on lap one. If yellow eye gets clean air there will be no stopping him.

Happy with Thunder today. They performed very well in the 2nd queue from 9th to 6th and almost 5th. That’s their best qualifying yet actually.

The F1 off season has brought me back to where I left off!
Really enjoyed seeing the track ramp up and the lap records get smashed! Wowza! But as an O'Rangers fan I've got my head in my hands everytime Clementin competes, it's been a disaster session after session!

As a Speeders fan you have to wonder is there something going on internally with the team that is causing all these short comings ?
I think they're past their prime. So sad to see their lackluster results thus far
@@thesyltestyle Maybe, I mean you can only be at the top for so long before you finally come crashing down. Maybe its just finally time for the Speeders to leave the top of the standings.

Momo had the right idea covering the inside line in turn 1 but forgot to slow down and overshot through the kerb.

Brilliant qualifying, I thought Wispy was surely safe at the end of the first half, but the laptimes tumbled as the big bois delivered - and Wispy only just made Q2! Turtle Sliders seem to always qualify brilliantly, but fall back in the race - let's see if they can turn that around
The fact that only 2 marbles from the first 10 marbles got through shows how much track evolution matters. I know its the bottom 10 in the championship who always qualify at the back due to this which makes each race more predictable so it would be way more entertaining to see a random order to find out if its the teams who are good or its just the fact they always get the advantage of going last.
I reccommend you try a random order because its been like this for the past few races, it would be nice to see all teams have a chance to win
Man, never thought I'd see a qualifier where sub 30 wasn't good enough for the top 10. Clemintin is letting the team down. I only hope that Clem has learned to navigate the pack this time.
Speedy was 4th of the first group of 10, ends up 13th after 2nd group of 10. That 2nd group was unreal!

He just needed some straight track to demonstrate his blistering speed. His last performances were on too tight of tracks to play to his strength.

Nice sort of bitter reunion for the Speeders and O’rangers at the beginning of this weeks race, we’ll see how it plays out
Minty Fresh hanging in there, almost like he was conserving his energy for the actual race. Also, this track definitely feels faster than the last two.
I feel like there might be a problem with later marbles going faster because it always seems the pole sitter and top 5-10 come from the second half of quali. Have you ever thought of doing reverse order on who goes when
Well that’s cuz they’re the better marbles, that’s why they’re in the places they’re in to begin with
This can be a good idea, however, I'm still worried about controverse because I remember the controverse about the reverse starting grid in ML2021 E16. In this case, the quali starting order shouldn't have issues who's starting first or last.
The marbles run in reverse order of the current team standings, so the last marbles to run are the "better" ones based on past performance.

Lol both in the roll-play and in real life, Pinkies are awfull marbles. It's sad
Endurance seems to be an issue, their struggling with the racing lines in every qualifying round and have little understanding to the turns resulting in abysmal qualifying runs.
Did something happen to the track in the second half of Q1? It’s unusual how all the marbles in that second half made it through other than clementin.
Quali is done in reverse championship order, so the marbles going last tend to be the faster ones in general.
@@Draconas Oh right, but (it hurts me to say this) they are only marbles after all, so it’s a little strange how this happened. It’s probably just crazy coincidence though, as Rapidly & Speedy used to be the quickest duo on the grid, and it’s not like any of the marbles have changed so it’s unusual.
Good start for Team Momo, now imma pray they move up that little bit more :)

I just started the Season 3 playlist after seeing one video of this incredible piece of work. Due to my YT moniker, I've been rooting for the Crazy Cat's Eyes and Red Eye is unstoppable. I really love this idea and this is definitely the best example I've come across. I'd love to know if the marbles are weighed and/or say a team of 2 could allocate 8 grams (or ideal weight) and have one weigh 3 and the other 5, to zest it up a bit and have most of the teams having different distribution of weight to give the teams/marbles more personality. I can't begin to recognize how outstanding the commentary is or I'd be writing a manifesto at some point lol, Amazing work though all around.
I saw that 6th place for Minty Fresh and was shocked. Then the last race happened and we came in 9th and I said, "Yeah, that's more like us." 😅

Good job Crush. I have a good feeling this race that we are going to get a podium spot this Sunday. And who knows with the experience their gaining here maybe this is the year they finally qualify for the Marble League.

I have no expectations for Clem anymore at this point, I hope we find a replacement for next season and save Clem for the ML.
