Embarkation Day (Athens Tuesday Port Day 1) Taxi to port checkin quick and easy and straight onto the ship. Another fantastic offering from Norwegian. Amazing entertainment, excellent choice of dining and themed bars.
The next port day in Thessaloniki (Port Day 2 Wednesday) was equally fantastic. Greece’s second largest city with fantastic historical Greco Roman sites and landmarks was easily explored in the time we had and the city had a friendly laid back feel too.
Still had time to catch a few rays of the pool deck before sailing and the evening meal was in the Brazilian speciality restaurant serving prime cuts of meat from the skewer with the green card keep serving and red card stop serving system. The show that night was ‘the million dollar quartet’ using the under studies from Broadway.
