Loving these early war batreps. Been thinking about getting some minis from that period, but still have about 4 platoons' worth of painting mid-late war minis to catch up on.
@Erwin History it happens, and I think the outcome was the same either way lol. The game may have been a draw but the Germans are gonna have a tough campaign if they keep getting beat up like this.
I usually do 6 to 10 inches in front of what ever I am aiming at if deploying smoke that way there is basically no chance of allowing my opponent to just brush it right off the board. And so it is still in play, unless they are right up against their edge 6" or less.
I really enjoyed the game and the spirit that it was played with. Nice figures and terrain. When the German light mortar hit the building containing the A-T rifle team you should have checked to see if it penetrated the roof and the A-T rifle team should have checked for morale. I would have continued firing the light mortar team at the A-T rifle team, as they were "zeroed in" and may well have destroyed them and saved the 38t.

Super-cute doggo BTW 🐶
Nothing like some BA to help get thru my work day. Is it a house rule you have that if a charge is done at max range both sides fight simultaneously?
I think we've misread page 67 as I look back at the rules

that's a good call
Do you have house rules re combat? Normally you just need one figure to make contact for both squads to fight.

Is there a way to get a list of all your secret objectives?
They are the same ones DZ Sabre created on his TH-cam channel. He has links to them there
Where are those roads from? They look really good
The roads are the Flames of War ones.
