Australia deserved the win as they have been one step ahead for the last two games. India had to play their natural game instead of getting bogged down and let the pressure of survival get to them. In a series of fine margins, it could be argued that Australia's run accumulation on day 2 (after being 311/6) and their last wicket partnership in the second innings resulted in being the difference between the two sides. Jaiswal and Bumrah were outstanding in both innings.

This Indian dude is spot on with his analysis of the game and the controversies every time I catch his interviews. I wish the Aussie commentators could be as honest, although Bluey isn't bad! I turn the volume off on my tele whenever Justin Langer is commentating, he is terrible to listen to.
Bumrahs arm is completely straight when he rolls it over to bowl. How his arm is before this action is irrelevant, so how you think he chucks is beyond me.
I’m an Aussie and this is a ridiculous comment. You clearly know nothing about cricket. Bumrah keeps his arm straight throughout his whole action. In fact it’s so ridiculously straight that it over extends past 180 degrees. A throw is where the arm is < 180 degrees just before the ball is released.
Ridiculous. The only chucker was Murali (SL) and he was given permission to chuck by the ICC because he was unable to keep his arm straight. There is nothing wrong with Bumrah's action except that it gets a lot of wickets.
Someone needs to say to Pant, your playing for India not yourself. All fielders on the boundary and he did what he did.. madness. In all fairness to him he did win the series last time but that was four years ago.

Just curious when tendulkar and Kohli (sorry for bad spelling) were at their best every young Indian cricet fan wanted to bat like them. Will Burmha have the inspiration on young upcoming Indian cricket fans?
@@junk_rig_sailor1698 That's why it's called a team game, everyone contributes whether with bat, ball or fielding. They gave won plenty of games without Cummins. What a stupid statement.
Arrogant, overrated, bully boy Kohli, who selfishly ran out Jaiswal in this test, has averaged less than 30 in the last 5 calendat years, so needs to be dropped!!!!
Although I am not a Kholi fan (away from cricket), that run out was not Kholi's fault. Both batsmen can call, but that ball was struck firmly & directly to one of the best fielders in the Aussie side & unlike T20, they don't field on the circle. There was no run in that shot, Kholii would have been run out if he ran. He even said to the kid, "look where the fielder was".
@@petepierre6458 both were at fault, Kohli turned around like he is roaming in garden and didn't even look at jaiswal. Jaiswal fault was more that he ran cluelessly.
Jaiswal was a) on strike and b) running to the danger end - it was absolutely his call. Kohli purposely turned his back to save himself. Whether he disagreed with what was a clear single, he should have showed some team spirit, and helped a young gun get his well deserved ton. Pathetic attitude from a 'leader'.
@@spqr2823 Just because it was his call, it doesn't mean that was the final option the other batter always has the option of saying no, always. What if there was a short leg, the batter drops it & calls for a run? Does the other batter have to run? No! Kholi was actually running to the more dangerous end as Jaiswal ran with the stroke & was further up he pitch than Kholi. As Kholi correctly pointed out to Jaiswal, the ball was struck firmly & directly to a fielder, a fielder who, btw, probably has the best arm in the Aussie side, & fielding far more closer than the usual position in T20 where they field on the circle. if Kholi had run, he would have been run out & by a fair margin. A lesson to the young guy for future.
@petepierre6458 Jaiswal was clearly running to the danger end, it was his call. Kohli rejected the call by turning his back instead of forcefully yelling out NO NO NO to make it clear. Then when it was certain that there was going to be a run out Kohli staying in his crease to protect his own wicket rather than saving India's best batsman.
Unlosable test? At what point were India ever ahead? And if you think Australia can’t finish off an Indian second innings in clutch play then go back to the summer of monkeygate and Clarke getting three wickets in an over with minutes left of play.
@@I_billed_that_beard_guy You get the idiot of the day award. Everything you have said about this test is idiotic. What Zane was saying is - also acknowledge that Australia played well and were the better team. Obviously, that is not easy for you to do. It's about losing with grace.
Winning aside, Reddy’s accomplishment and the family’s sacrifices adds meaning to humanity. Bumrah -Cummings - the relentless effort. This is cricket. ??? This was the same bowling attack when they lost in 2020/2021 ! Unlosable means for a draw ! Head throwing a half tracker to Pant is grade level bowling ! India committed harkiry and hence lost and not the other way around!! He is right
Feels like the media are in damage control trying to cover up obvious match fixing including every player throwing their wicket on a flat track and stop pretending kohli rohit and jadeja not to the same extent have been trying their very best to throw their wicket. Even Jaiswal swung like a tail ender for most of his stint. I knew kohli was playing to lose when i saw him purposely fumble that sitter in slips in the first game. Great players do not fail like this. Aljazeera documentary has to be seen to understand what is going on.
The tone.....Like the poms, india are the moral victors. They just naturally should have won. Australia just jagged another test, by fluke, cheating, etc.

What cheating? Is that all you have, when you lose you whine & cry & accuse the other side of cheating? OK, whatever pops your balloon. NZ must have really cheated bad to beat India 3-0 in India!
They were definitely lucky though not saying india is a dream team but if Aussies were so good it would have been 4-0 but they lost at Perth ans india definitely lost a draw here rather than Aussies winning !
@@dhanraj2900 They lost to the better team in Perth. No team, not one, ever wins every game so your claim about 4-0 is very ill informed. The Australians, in this test, were far more disciplined & their ground fielding vastly superior. They held their clutch catches whereas India did not. India lost the game not the draw. You can say Pant threw his wicket away but that is how he plays & he had just come through an extensive period of sustained high pressure bowling that led to his loose shot. Is there any harm in giving credit where it's due? I had no issue when India totally outplayed us in Perth &deservedly won, why is it so difficult the other way?
Kohli behaved childishly toward a 19 year old making his debut, it was beneath him, so he deserved the boo’s. And the punishment was more like a kiss on the wrist rather than a slap.

Very luck Australia to clench this one ! Pant woudnt have attempted that shot if not fir last series ! The fact that he thohght he could win definitely tells Aussis were not dominating !
Any sane batsman would have hit the Head long hop for 4 along the ground, not the bighead Indian, going for glory. The conceit of the Indians lost them the Test, from Kohli's refusal to run when called, his shoulder charge of the debutant which shows his charachter flaws, through to Pants 'glory shot' which was a complete brain fade, based on arrogance. That guy was awedome
This Indian dude is spot on with his analysis of the game and the controversies every time I catch his interviews. I wish the Aussie commentators could be as honest, although Bluey isn't bad! I turn the volume off on my tele whenever Justin Langer is commentating, he is terrible to listen to.
The commentary is miles better on Foxtel, if that's an option for you? Cheers!
The indian selectors need to drop virat and rohit and might as well play younsgters next test to see the future
"Wicket Verdict" to test your umpire skill
I'd like to know how to pretend, like all commentators, that Bumrah does not throw!
Bumrahs arm is completely straight when he rolls it over to bowl.
How his arm is before this action is irrelevant, so how you think he chucks is beyond me.
Anything else you'd like to know?
I’m an Aussie and this is a ridiculous comment. You clearly know nothing about cricket. Bumrah keeps his arm straight throughout his whole action. In fact it’s so ridiculously straight that it over extends past 180 degrees. A throw is where the arm is < 180 degrees just before the ball is released.
Ridiculous. The only chucker was Murali (SL) and he was given permission to chuck by the ICC because he was unable to keep his arm straight. There is nothing wrong with Bumrah's action except that it gets a lot of wickets.
Jaiswal runout was the turning point of the match. Otherwise we would have batted for at least one hour and the match would have been a draw..
Cummins not getting 20 wickets for 10 is the reason Aus lost the first test, otherwise we would have won by an innings and 200 runs..
@zane01235 getting runout is a matter of luck whereas not getting wickets is a matter of skill
@@anuragdandekar6064not necessarily
No it wasn't .those dropped catches had more of an effect than the runout.
Maybe, maybe not. Who is to say? He might have got out next ball anyhow and NO, getting run out is not "a matter of luck", its poor decision making.
India never really looked like they were going to win it.
When Aus were 91/6 in second inning ??

Someone needs to say to Pant, your playing for India not yourself. All fielders on the boundary and he did what he did.. madness. In all fairness to him he did win the series last time but that was four years ago.

India play primitive cricket Australia play smart cricket IND depend on individual performance australia depend on team work and professional approach australia study each and every player before match and tackle each player
Sorry to disappoint Neil and the rest of England …. Australia will be in the Test final and win it and then take to England next year in the Ashes 🇦🇺 - I know it cuts deep 😁
Let them drop Bumrah, the skeletons will be out of this team. Only because of Bumrah they are not whitewashed
You are right without him this is an third class indian team
Without Cummins with both ball and bat, Australia would be sunk too.
@@junk_rig_sailor1698 and the rest of Australia's bowling order...
@petepierre6458
Jaiswal was clearly running to the danger end, it was his call. Kohli rejected the call by turning his back instead of forcefully yelling out NO NO NO to make it clear. Then when it was certain that there was going to be a run out Kohli staying in his crease to protect his own wicket rather than saving India's best batsman.
Can I get a lift at the train station
Can't help yourself can you?
Let's get real both India and Australia have the same problem the opening top end batsmen are not doing their the job
Catches win matches.
Unlosable test? At what point were India ever ahead? And if you think Australia can’t finish off an Indian second innings in clutch play then go back to the summer of monkeygate and Clarke getting three wickets in an over with minutes left of play.
People are overreacting to this Test match. It was a good match but not a classic. How was this an 'unlosable' match for India?
Wait until bumrah breaks down India will be in the 💩 then😂
True mate, he and Jaswaih are the only two who have consistently given a good go.
He should take rest and let India play sydney without him he deserves a nice team not like this
Call it honestly! Kohli got a slap on the wrist and just proves that corruption is alive and well in cricket
India did not lose the unloseable please
Thank Rohit, WWE Kohli, and Pant 👋
I'd rather thank the Aussie team for having form. Thanks Aussie team.
You are right thanks to all of them

@@I_billed_that_beard_guy You get the idiot of the day award. Everything you have said about this test is idiotic. What Zane was saying is - also acknowledge that Australia played well and were the better team. Obviously, that is not easy for you to do. It's about losing with grace.
Winning aside, Reddy’s accomplishment and the family’s sacrifices adds meaning to humanity. Bumrah -Cummings - the relentless effort. This is cricket. On the contrary, Virat, he is successful enough to show his humanity and be an example to more than 1 billion people in India alone, let alone the rest of the world. What a poor standard if Kohli’s India’s standard???

Against one of the greatest bowling attacks in History at home in the boxing day test.
Lost your mind bro... you dont understand the Aussie mind set.
??? This was the same bowling attack when they lost in 2020/2021 ! Unlosable means for a draw ! Head throwing a half tracker to Pant is grade level bowling ! India committed harkiry and hence lost and not the other way around!! He is right
That bowling attack is not one of the greatest

Sh*t? Who won the game????
"An unlosable test"? That's ya backside talking.
unloseable test no such thing
Kohli is not as great as he thinks he was he is not Gavaskar or Tendulkar and never will be
Feels like the media are in damage control trying to cover up obvious match fixing including every player throwing their wicket on a flat track and stop pretending kohli rohit and jadeja not to the same extent have been trying their very best to throw their wicket. Even Jaiswal swung like a tail ender for most of his stint. I knew kohli was playing to lose when i saw him purposely fumble that sitter in slips in the first game. Great players do not fail like this. Aljazeera documentary has to be seen to understand what is going on.
Your nonsense is complete and utter nonsensical nonsense.
Can someone please tell Bumrah to get with the programme.
Right on my brother! The world is flat as a pancake.

Or by just playing better cricket
I don't like the MCG crowd boo-ing Kohli. Never boo a champion. He made a mistake & has copped his penalty.
More like a slap on the wrist.
That's how Australia is, people don't count them among gentlemen, I have always seen bad videos from there. Sledging, booing etc
Kohli behaved childishly toward a 19 year old making his debut, it was beneath him, so he deserved the boo’s. And the punishment was more like a kiss on the wrist rather than a slap.
He gets boo'd for what he did day 1. It's simple.

Very luck Australia to clench this one ! Pant woudnt have attempted that shot if not fir last series ! The fact that he thohght he could win definitely tells Aussis were not dominating !
The better we play the luckier we get
Any sane batsman would have hit the Head long hop for 4 along the ground, not the bighead Indian, going for glory. The conceit of the Indians lost them the Test, from Kohli's refusal to run when called, his shoulder charge of the debutant which shows his charachter flaws, through to Pants 'glory shot' which was a complete brain fade, based on arrogance. India have been behind since Perth and should be 3-1 now. Without Bumrah, they may as well have just conceded all the Tests.
@@kriordan25 These Indian fans are so incredulous with their coping mechanisms. Pant plays an incredibly poor shot and that somehow means we were lucky to win and not dominating the game. Go figure...
