This is the first video I've watched from your channel and I was super sceptical. Normally when you see bigger youtubers (like over 1m subs) doing these kind of "Buy every fish" videos they normally do something stupid with the fish like release them or just do something really inappropriate with them. But you actually had somewhere really nice and already prepared for these fish! It's so good to see they're joining already established ponds/tanks, I'm sure the goldfish are going to be having the time of their lives in that huge pond I'm so happy for them. Sure birds will get a few but it's how it goes in an outdoor pond not a huge amount you can do about it without a cover but as a duck pond it's not an option. But yeah so so happy to see these fish going to a knowledgeable and good home

It is pretty great he was quite prepared, I guess the only poor thing is it was Petsmart, and if you didn't know it's generally the best idea to avoid chain stores and research into some smaller pet stores or breeders, as otherwise it's just supporting abusive care and or at least a mill/mass producer which is where most if not all chain store animals typically come from.
@@Reptile_Gecko agreed that's why I always Quarantine any fish from a chain fish store

Paul sounds like you could use a dehumidifier in the fish building to help dry the big pond, it pulls moisture from the air. Or maybe some fans? I hope it gets figured out, can’t wait to see it full of fish. Keep making your amazing videos! You are such a genuinely kind person, and our whole family enjoys watching your content.

It’s crazy how fast the fish world moves compared to us they’ll be 100% good one day and “how are they alive” a day later. Just crazy
You could get some dehumidifiers for the fish building to help with the drying of the giant pond
If fiberglass doesn't set it needed correct or more hardner when mixed. Try actual space heaters to quick set it. Good luck, enjoy all of your videos keep living the dream brother!

for the humidity issue in that pond that's not too complicated to deal with . seems like he has pretty high monetary resources for his channel you can place a few portable air conditioners blowing on it , air conditioners put out very dry air . or an industrial dehumidifier

Paul, you should definatly dedicat a fish tank to entirly glofish! Something like a 55 or 75 gallon with 50 glofish would look insane.

You were supposed to do the fiberglass for that one outside and then put the whole tank inside because you have too much moisture inside with all the tanks that you have inside figure that out let's go Paul

Paul, I started watching your videos back in 2019 when I started getting into fish keeping. I watched for a long time until I fell out of the hobby, but I loved every second of your videos. I'm a fairly new subscriber having seen a YT "suggestion" to the right of my screen while watching one of 'Uncle Ben's" Urban Rescue vids, and I just wanted to say that I love this channel!! Anyone who loves animals will always be a friend of mine 😊 I've never had an aquarium, and I don't know much about fish, but I'm fascinated by all these different varieties you show here, as well as other aquatics (including plants)! I also subscribed to "Luke's Goldies" (another YT suggestion") recently and I absolutely adore those cute, chubby goldies he has. They have the sweetest faces -- have you ever considered adding some of those to your collection?
I appreciate the time, energy, and love you put into your channel, and give to your "kids", finned, feathered, et al. I'm so sorry the fish with no eyes didn't make it. I had to cry when I heard that because I had such high hopes that he would thrive and live to be a ripe old age under your care. That's one of the downsides of rescuing and taking care of animals....having to say good-bye😢

Hey Paul you need to get some dehumidifiers from home Depot you can rent them and you need to put like two or three of them in there that way you can take the humidity out the room which is the moisture and that fiberglass will dry instantly

Only an aquarist will understand this.
Miss gary it actually gave hope to see people finding similar geese but I think you should get a pond just for feeders such as goldfish, ghost shrimp, crickets, or mealworms. They will be beneficial in many ways

Put dehumidifiers in the fish room! Those work miracles. I know by experience with using them for the moisture that was in my basement. You just have to get good ones.

Hey Paul, I remember in a previous video when you were around Kamp Kenan's you where thinking about getting a rino iguana, when he said he had eggs, well on a recent video of Kenan's the eggs are now hatched and he has babies, are yiu still thinking of getting one? With you saying you want to do a bare bottom for the Fly River I thought they needed some substrate as they hide under it
Why don't you use a DEHUMIDIFIER??? run 1 or 2 in the building and trust me it'll be like magic. Thats what I always do in the fiberglass room
