As someone who has a 7 year old nephew that battled brain cancer since the age of 3, this really tore my heart out listening about alfie. Luckily, my nephew is currently in remission and signs are looking good. But i couldnt imagine loseing him.
Richmond already in the Grand Final, Giants need to win against Collingwood to play the Grand Final. Just imagine, Giants making the Grand Final, Deledio coming back to play that one last final game of his career and winning the Grand Final. Big ask and don't think it will be possible especially playing at the MCG... But that would indeed be a fairytale finish for him and the rest of the Giants players. I'll definitely try really hard to be there if Giants make the Grand Final and cheering them to make their first ever Grand Final win. Success brings the members and fans (look at Western Sydney Wanderers). People might not realise it because there is only a handful of Giants fans who make the long and expensive trips for away games, but the fan numbers are increasing, you just need to come to a Giants home game to realise it. But those who have been supporting the Giants from the Team GWS days back in 2008 (like me) will only realise the players growing and developing from teenagers to men and the Giants fan numbers growing. ❤️ GWS GIANTS!
99.9% of Richmond supporters (like me) are gutted Lids never won a flag (with or without Richmond). He had our blessing when he left because he put everything into our club over a long and dark period. I'd like to believe that deep down, his heart still resides in Tigerland.
No doubt a star player for the Tiges and who knows with the Ginats if he din't have those injuries especially.I'm a Carlton fan but always loved lids hardly rarely played a bad game:)
I feel sorry for breet deledio missing the grand final and don't playing in the grand final with his friends with Jack riewoldt dusty Martin Trent cotchin shane Edwards
They wouldn't have gotten Tom Lynch and Dion Prestia into the side if Deledio didn't head to GWS, so somehow I think that has more of an impact than the chinese whispers you're talking about

Heard talk of Deledio and his ego causing conflict at Tigerland a whiles ago, funny how the Tigers have had a lot of success since he took off.....
