Classical Musicians React: MAMAMOO 'Um Oh Ah Yeah' vs 'You're the Best'

- For the third video of this series, classical musicians/music majors watch MAMAMOO for the first time!
(uhh, headphone users.... warning...there is several screams in the first min of the video)
In the next few videos I plan on showing them more orchestral songs, and my favorite groups (VIXX, BTS, etc)! I will be releasing reaction videos for this series every Monday.
**Part 2's of groups won't come out until I have shown them Part 1 of ALL the groups I want them to get into**
Thank you to everyone who is commenting with suggestions. The more requests I get for a group, the higher up on my to-watch list they will become. However if it's a recent song hit (like Blood, Sweat & Tears, or Decalcomanie, those won't be shown until they've watched the group's older songs, so they can see them grow musically!)

I love the girl at the end who couldn't comprehend the closeness. I couldn't stop laughing. Pretty much every kpop group I've seen is like that to varying degrees. BTS is super close like that too and Got7, but it probably does seem strange if you're not used to it, lol!
Also, thank you for being organized about this series. I really like that you plan to show older music first to show them how the groups progress musically. VIXX and BTS are my two favorite groups and they've both grown a lot since debut.
I even saw some idols kissed each others just for fun 😂
Umu, I must confess, I was afraid to watch this video at first; but I'm glad it had a happy result! Watching non-kpop fan reactions tend to be very cringeworthy and irritating (especially the non kpopers who have no real interest); and you know how "protective" kpop fandoms can be; but I'm happy that your friends came into this with an open mind; and I wouldn't be surprised if half of them actually become kpop fans in the future! I hope you showed them (or will show them more) Mamamoo in the future! And once again, GREAT JOB AND VIDEO!!!

I hoped for some more in depth musical opinions about the group, considering they're maybe the best vocal group in korea at the moment. but it was nice anyway!
I don't think they'll be able to do any in depth comments about their voices until they hear them live! And none of them are vocally trained (other then Aurel theory) so I myself am curious to see what they think of the girl's voices ^^ -Umu

+chillipepper Awe5ome baby, spica, fiestar, the Barberettes are part of kpop too. Mamamoo just happened to make it big out of a lot of other groups with a similar style.

YESSSSSS!!!!!! MAMAMOO is my favorite female group. I've always considered them to be a bit more 'jazzy' than other kpop acts. I wish they had seen some of their live performances too! Those vocals are no joke.

I love Mamamoo, so when this video came up I just clicked and didn't know what to expect, but I'm so glad I did, their reactions are awesome! I wish you could do a reaction to Vromance too, but it's probably better to wait till they have comeback, so you can show them a little more of them!! A personal favorite group of mine is B.A.P they are super talented, and diverse. I recommend you show them, Warrior, Power, No mercy, One shot, Badman, 1004(angel), young wild and free, feel so good, and skydive. I look forward to seeing more videos from you guys!! 🙃

My favorite thing about this series is hearing them talk about modulations and parallel fifths and resolving dominants :)

I LOOOOOOOVE MAMAMOO! ♥️ Whoever formed them is so smart because you have talented vocalists but they're all so different. Solar has the range, Hwasa has the sultriness in her timbre, Whee In has an amazing legato technique and Moonbyul can really hit those low notes. There's only been one or two times when I found their harmony not as tight but I think that's when there was a seventh chord and someone had to do a perfect fifth interval and it was an impromptu thing. They remind me of CSJH the Grace if anyone remembers that kpop group lol
