- We all love or hate Cave adventures and we already got a got amount of really good creatures to take with us into those Dark Caverns of Ark. In this Video I'll talk about the 10 Best Modded Crave Creatures. All of them come from the AC2 Mod Roster.

I agree, all of em wonderful suggestions. Surprised like Ghidorah said, Deinocrocuta isn't on here. Especially since i did some nerfs to amphi you still mentioned as fact (i think?).I used to use Crocutas a LOT because that DPS is wonderful.
Maybe there's going to be a second list one day who knows

Dinocrocutas are my personal favorites! Compact, pack bonus, and stamina-draining bites.
Shadlos and his team are very good at designing intricate dinos and have noticed he puts alot of emphasis on AOE attacks with a few dinos aswel. I have all his mods downloaded thanks to you haha

Excelent! My fav is the Kodiak bear, the nigerian is awesome too.
So, pretty much, bring a very good nigerian firespitter and a good red panda
NF Is my overall fave! The Ice Cave on rags! That thing only needs to be cryo-ed once! And shreds the Ice worms!!

It's funny seeing the modded version of andrewsarchus on this list. I never got to play with the mod version since it was removed before I started using that mod. But the version from Fjordur is my favorite mount for boss fights like the Overseer, where one of the greatest dangers is being dismounted. The immunity to being dismounted is so good. I didn't actually test if you could get it onto abberation to do the rockwell fight, but if that is possible it'd probably be perfect for that fight too, even if the energy balls can hit you while mounted on an andrewsarchus, it has a built in gun that requires no reloading. With a good enough saddle you could forget about needing to shotgun down the tentacles, especially with the crazy range they have.

Australovenator Is the only one I would add, for brood mothers and caves with Broodmother bosses, you can get a huge amount of O-polymer from Broods!!!!!! And my A-venators shred!!
This video was very helpful I use ark additions 2 this video helped me understand what the creatures do and what is their specialty also I was looking for the same creatures that were in this video but I couldn’t find it until I was notified that there is different ark additions thank you arkraktor 😊

I don't have much experience but I think you nailed all the good tames for caves on the head. Unfortunate that you didn't put the akhlut on this list.

I actually wanted to do something like that a little while ago. But here is the thing, there are a lot of Ac2 Creatures which are good for Boss fights
Rip AC2's Andrew. Shadlos took it and 10 other creatures out because they no longer met his incredibly high standards and it was deemed not worth the the software limitations of the mod to give it a TLC. I have a back up of the version of the mod that included these creatures, but have no idea how to reimplement them. I'd much rather have AC2's cool beach combing wolf that's actually related to sheep than the ARK's official ugly bear warthog thing.
"Incredibly high standards"? most of the models just looked like ass and i was tired of being underhanded in quality by my modeler because "I wasn't a popular modder".
As for Andrew, It was horrendously overpowered for how easy it was to obtain. On top of this, I deleted Andrewsarchus as I wasn't satisfied with my andrew, but beyond happy with the vanilla andrew. As neat as the "Wolf-like" andrew is, it's known Andrewsarchus was a daeodon-like (But not an actual hellpig) animal and i've seen great paleo-art of it in this description, and thought it looked better than the old wolf depictions. Hence why vanilla andrew to this day remains one of my favorite animals to use in-game. If i was disappointed with the vanilla andrew, i likely would have kept mine and tried to TLC it. However, Andrew was not Carchar or Fasola.
@@shadlos8131 Sorry, League and some of it's ancient champions and janky ass animations have desensitised me to bad models. I just wanna to fulfil my 9 year old fantasy of riding on a giant wolf ala Princess Mononoke :')

There's a few wolf mods out there, and maybe one day i'll have one of my own.
With andrewsuchus being removed from the mod lets hope the new andrewsuchus from official will be ok at caves if not hey atleast we got a walking fire suport dino now to go with the tropico fighter bomber dino

The emela is t a reptile its a cryptid so it isnt under any scientific classification its just a folk tale from some country simileir to a chupacabra
Well within the folk lore it's called the Mammal hating reptile.

Additional creatures i think it dose not feel like ark that’s just me the only mod that I would add creatures are ark additions that’s just me
