Driver's Notes:
Destroyed my previous non-aero PB by 3 seconds! And all I had to do was mount a giant RSFuture wing. The only change I made to the suspension was stiffening up the rear sway bar per the recommendation of Alex Bernstein (‪@Bernooo_‬). The car felt so much more planted everywhere and wasn't kicking out on corner entry and exit as I was used to with no rear wing. I was pushing, but this was still a very "dirty" lap full of mistakes, throttle lifts, and overslowing. The day after this event, I actually did a 1:53.0x. Theres a lot more time on the table, but I'll need to work for it.
Also need to address the scary moment going into sunset. There was a car ahead of me going much slower. Sunset isn't really a place where you can get out of the way, so he had no choice but to hold his line. I was on a flyer and was too aggressive and didn't anticipate the driver to slow down as much as they did. Ultimately, I should've bailed on my lap because that was very dangerous and could've been potentially terrible if I torpedoed the driver had my wheels locked up. Lesson learned. Safety first. There can be no winners at a non-competition event -- only losers. And I almost made both of us losers that day.
