Moved to Tulsa 2 years ago from okc. Like it alot better. It is cleaner and alot greener. If you want to have some good Mexican food I suggest this little hole in the wall called El Rio Verde. Get the wet burrito I promise you won't be disappointed. Also if you like Irish food check out killkennys down on Cherry St or crow Creek tavern down by Riverside. Tuesday is 4 dollar burger night and you can't beat it getting a large burger and fries for 4 bucks .Lots of great stuff here in Tulsa.
I live in Tulsa and this was a great video but I can’t believe you guys didn’t include the gathering place?? That’s the biggest thing in Tulsa since the BOK Center and Ball Park
I went there today!!! We got kicked out of "the beach" because we we're building sand castles... I was angry about that and we didn't even get into the water at all!!! Why would they have a "beach" if we can't build sand castles otherwise the gathering place is great and I don't know why didn't include it :/
Jacob Garbey, great observation. Maybe they are highlighting more of the hidden gems about the selected geographical areas. That’s my guess, but could be wrong. We do really love the Gathering Place too. An awesome place to spend a couple of hours or the whole day.
Center of the universe, The bar on top of the Mayo Hotel, The bike path from Sand Springs all the way to Broken Arrow down Riverside. My god did you even bother to ask anybody what’s cool about Tulsa? Gathering place?
I moved to a tiny town in "green country" ok over 20 years ago. From a big east coast city ... I was so impressed by the overnight road trip travel OK marketing campaign. My husband and I, along with our son traveled every corner of ok. In 6 months. It was a clever campaign and we had the best time. We discovered beautiful botanical gardens, sand dunes , caves, Queen Wilemina state park, the runestones, spiro mounds, to Guymon ok. ... a different time zone from the rest of ok. Great memories!
I live in Tulsa... And every year I go to the aquarium and do fun things with my family the day before school starts it's kinda the grand finale of summer
I love my city so much
Born and raised in Tulsa, then left and spent 30+ years in Colorado. Man am I glad to be back. I freaking love this town!
