Hi Elisabetta (pretty name), I just found your website- like your reviews! I have been using derwent inktense pencils for many years- found them in England when I was living there and fell in love with them. I recently started using the blocks as pans-in the long run they are cheaper because they last forever and I got the 36 set at half price. I use both simultaneously and found that they work well together (especially for urban and floral sketches- multimedia can be great fun). I see that you did a review on graphtint pencils by derwent- that will be my next stop. thanks again for your review!
I love the Inktense pencils so I just got the 24 set of the paint pans. I’m impressed! I just wish they offered a larger set. You can get the pans in single open stock but just in the 24 colors. However, you can get the Inktense sticks in many colors, cut them and put them into half pans to add to your collection.
I regret having bought the small set instead of the larger one! But there was a special offer!!! I hope to use it up quickly so I can buy the larger one!! Are you using it a lot?
@@WatercolorElisabetta I really contemplated getting a small one, but I liked colors from both and bought the big one from Blick. I love it! I have started practicing with it. Figured best to practice before committing to a real piece. It works differently than watercolor. You have to sort of pre think what you paint as it is dye based and permanent. I also bought the Graphitints pan, which are very cool.
Drawing with kids is such a lovely activity!! My son is grown up and he’s in college, but he sometimes still does paint with me and he enjoys it. Your words make me so happy! Thank you! Happy painting Carlz.

These also blend well with a colorless alcohol blender pen.
Good to know! Thank you!
I love your swatch! So creative to present them in drawings! Gives me a good idea what to paint with my kids.🐱
