- More than 200 foreign workers in P.E.I. and their supporters held flags and signs, calling for the province to make changes to its new immigration policy that has left many workers with no hope for permanent residency. The rally took place outside the George Coles Building on June 13. About 10 members of the People’s Party of Canada was also at the gathering, counter-protesting the group of foreign workers and to show their support to the government for not giving into the protesters demands.

Lets just say it as it is....We simply cannot afford them. That's the fact that needed to be understood.
NO FOREIGN WORKERS!!
I just feel ridiculous that people start to take advantage of you when you are too nice to them. Demanding when the host is welcomed you is the act of abuse of friendliness. That is when you know you need to stand up to the demonstrate your sovereignty.
These people are international students.
They study AND then they need to go home.
Higher education isn't a stepping stone towards permanent residency.
Support is not growing, this type of incompetent journalism is why Saltwire is in such terrible shape.
Did you know? The reasons they’re holding on for life is, some of them can’t go back to India. They’ve done crimes and gang activity in India. They’re going straight to jail once back in India
Good.
The narrator can hardly speak English .. wtf
The provincial and federal government already stated that
a Post Graduation Work Permit has never guaranteed a path for PR and that they will not be granting an exemption to the protestors.
Please do another update. The base camp was forcefully taken down by the city yesterday
Was it really? That’s good news. If they aren’t citizens then they have no right to protest.
The same thing happened in PEI
@@PaulGill-jf9cm I live up the street from the protest but want to make sure everyone is getting the facts
Don't support this crap

@@Gmthekiller If Pepe has an expired Visa then yes Pepe should go back, in what order makes little difference.
