Sometimes, before records arrive at their perfect point - all compact, tight and bright - they’re allowed to stretch their legs fully in order to explore their own perimeters. Mixes are carried out live, they journey around the edges of the mixing desk, following a note to see where it leads.
This previously unreleased version of the 1993 single Cowgirl is such an experiment in sound. Mixed live a few weeks before the final version arrived, this is an expansion of familiar sounds across nearly eighteen elastic minutes. It is both a chance to understand a working process and a killer piece of music in its own right.

the only reason this time in human history is not a utter failure is because of Underworld.
I shall never forget those earlier Underworld concerts in the 90's. The energy and utter brilliance was mind blowing. Still brilliant now of course and whole new generations are catching up with the wild sounds & beats of the band. Long may they continue. Thanks guys. This remix is just gorgeous, the original was a mind***k at the time but this is just off the scale. Bootyfull!!

I feel sad for anyone who says the soundtrack to the movie Hackers was their first exposure to this gem.
It's all exposure, marketing, publicity etc. It doesn't matter where you first heard it, it just matters that you heard it.
Why do Underworld have such a weak TH-cam presence? They should have at least 10 times the number of subscribers & interactions. Someone needs to be hired (or fired) so its run properly. Just my humble opinion 💖✌
