Blessings to you guys for gracing our home with your warm presence. May the Lord guide you through your careers and prosper every opportunity arising in the future. 🙏🏾❤️
Wow, this is Amazing, l have always felt it is so important to have African Americans as well as other people of color in the Diaspora visit the continent and get to see for themselves what Africa and its people are like instead of hearing it from the bias media of the West. I spent 45 yrs in California and my brother went to Howard. We were born not too far from where you are in the country of Lesotho, my father went to Stanford University so we moved to the Bay Area when l was eight. So now that l am back in Southern Africa l am so happy to see platforms such as yours that give people a chance to see what our beautiful continent looks like and meet and enjoy the people of Africa ❤
Another awesome video. I must say this is one your best videos because it was so emotional. For years I always asked myself “did our African Brothers and Sisters forget about us”? We may not know the exact details of our struggles, but I do know that there is a connection and it’s coming home. When I saw the ladies meet the Zulu King, it almost brought tears to my eyes because we as black people need to know that we have Royalty and we have to be proud of our ROYALTY. The fact that the students got an opportunity to meet the king is breath taking. Thank goodness I get your notifications, there was no way I was going to miss this. Keep doing what you’re doing 🌹
I was emotional editing the video myself. No, we never forgot but most of us both in the continent and the diaspora are caught up in the capitalist system and it’s demands that we are forgetting who we are. It’s is upon us to do as much as we can with those willing to build Africa again. Thank you for watching. 🙏🏾❤️
@@VelileLifestyleDecorTV Siyabonga dadewethu for showing hospitality to our fellow sisters odadabethu that we love them dearly and that they re welcome because this is their home too. we never forgot them and we know what they went through and still to this day, we feel feel their pain and we are with them in spirit. We might be separated by oceans but we are connected in spirit. God bless you and may he bless all our people throughout the diaspora. I LOVE ALL MY PEOPLE AND GOD WILL BRING US TOGETHER AGAIN LIKE HE DID THE ISRAELITES
This is one experience they will forever cherish and will stick on their minds ❤ They now have a story to tell about their experience in SA to their families and their kids in the future 😊
South Africa 🇿🇦 to the world. Congratulations, kunina bo Jobe ngomsebenzi omuhle in putting our country and the South African culture to the nations. We appreciate your work
Sis Vellile This was beautiful to watch! Iwant my daughter to experience this!!! How does she become a part of this!!! We are in the diaspora❤😊😊😂😂😂😊😊😊😊😊
Great experience. I am forming a group in South Africa called HBCU (Izigungu Zemfundo Ephakeme Yabamnyama in America) South Africa which will expose the 106 Izigungu Zemfundo Ephakeme Yabamnyama in America to South Africans. I work at Morehouse College in Atlanta and we can also send a delegation to meet the King.
What is the application process to do this. We are located in Atlanta Ga. Is there a website for more information. I think this is a revolutionary step with our youth from the diaspora
Velile's husband Dr Sithole is a lecturer at Howard university and these are some of his students who've taken up isiZulu at university and are visiting here to immerse themselves in the culture and life in South Africa 🇿🇦.Hopefully they'll be able to accommodate you.
🌹Thank you Sis Velile. When they say experience is the best teacher, it so true. I wish South Africa and other countries can have culture exchange program at a larger scale. We have much to offer as a nation. Watching from Pretoria. Siyabonga.
you fools, stop inviting these untrustworthy outsiders...they came to possess your birthright anf you give it away for free. a commoner would not meet shaka without bearing gifts etc...they will take your land just like the others are taking your school, hospital and jobspot. you are fools.
blk americans want to colonise africa...look what they tried to do in Ghana, you will not prosper in SA before the blk child of SA> not your outsiders.
Wow what a beautiful piece of work for promoting our country to the world and very proud of u sisi Velile and Dr Sithole. This will be engraved in these young students minds forever. Siyabonga
This is amazing!! Thank you Velile and Sipho for opening up your home and village for us to lean more about the rural areas of South Africa!!! This is wonderful and I am sharing it on my platforms as well. I want the world to see your great work!
I stay in Durban inner city and it’s alwys breathtaking when I go to the rural areas when I go home walk where my ancestors used to walk breathe the air I often walk barefoot and touch the soil yet I’m just a few kms away I can imagine what it feels like to them growing up to stories about a place they call your home to seeing it live to bieng at a place where you are the majority , please do a lot of this for many kids in the US it may help them connect with themselves and they know a bit about who they are they are kings we are all kings I hope we don’t forget that
Your best video my cc;I’m not even half in but so emotional.Thank you for keep on keeping on.May the Lord bless the works of your hands. I am tearful because this is how exactly I grew up,fetching water from the river. I must commend the girls for managing to keep the buckets on their heads 😅🙏🏽❤️🇿🇦🇸🇦
I'm sure our young brothers and sisters had a lot to learn, thanks Velile and your husband, umsebenzi eniwenzayo Mkhulu. Ngifisa engathi ningaba lohlelo lukufundisa South African born children here in America about their culture as well.
A wonderful cultural program which should be expanded by you and your husband, perhaps ropping in like-minded People in other tribal environs and provinces. Love your hospitality and adherence to teaching culture as it is, with just a touch of pampering. Keep it up my sister. Love from 🇿🇼.
This is a great showcase of our Zulu culture to the world in a real life experience. Im so happy for those American girls. Keep up the good work with Dr Sipho.
this is sso sad!!! arent you even ashamed to say how you hv forgotten your roots yet praise the outsider for adopting your birth right and responsibilities. seis.
You and your husband are doing great work. Wow I am lost for words and thank you for sharing our culture with these young ladies as they are also part of it even though it was ripped off them when their ancestors were forcefully taken to a foreign land and enslaved by the evil creatures and that’s how I perceive them.
Velile ndodakazi waze wamuhle umsebenzi wakho. Siwushayela ihlombe siyisizwe sonkana ukuveza ubuhle besikompilo lesizwe sethu. Thuthuka njalo ntombazane, ngaze ngafisa ukubafundisa ulimi lwethu ukuze bazifundele ngomlando wethu siyisizwe. Teachers have a reservoir of language knowledge which doesn't retire when they do but get wasted. This could give them a platform to utilize that and develop those who r interested in Zulu culture.
I’m so proud to be Zulu right now.. Siyabonga Sis Velile❤
🌹Thank you for your hospitality! We enjoyed your home and good cooking🙏🏾 May the Lord bless you ten fold

A job well done sis. The work you and Sipho are doing is commendable. I know uSipho from university of Zululand (ONgoye)
Good job for showing them their roots.
This is not their roots. Strictly, their roots would be in west Africa. I’m sure this was still interesting for them though.
