    PHEW! That's a relief. I thought ''OH NOOO!'' Charlie is sacking his video channel. You have been really helpful in educating me on the best way to move home and all that is involved in the process. And of course how to avoid falling for any of the nonsense propaganda that comes out regarding house prices and valuations etc.

    I enjoy your rambles, they echo my own mindfunk. People have no idea what’s coming in the next few years. Whilst I agree about slide over crash, I think society is in for a massive crash in the next few years.

    Charlie, this is the best channel I am subscribed to you including mine. You have been always helpful and it is due to your help that I managed to buy my house after a discount. Every single mindful suggestion I have gathered is because of your 'Rambling'. Love your Rambling, keep on.

    You really are a superb presenter Charlie! I would make your economy episodes attractive to both homebuyers and investors. Most investors only have a handful of properties so the knowledge base is not that different and you will level up those who only transact 2 or 3 times in their life. Your expertise seems to be in the process itself, I would get guests on who are more expert in the economic side and who offer a range of views to avoid dogma.

    Only found your channel recently so happy you have a direction to go towards as how to move house is why I am subscribed. We are coming up towards retirement I'm a few years and considering downsizing so most interested in how to get the best out of the situation. Looking forward to your upcoming shows whilst going back through your past videos...

    I'd like to hear your thoughts on Gary's Economics thesis on why asset prices will keep climbing.

    • @MovingHomewithCharlie
      @MovingHomewithCharlie  หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      I’ve answered that many times. In a nutshell my view is that house prices differ from all other assets traded for profit by the super rich, in that they are low liquidity, high maintenance cost, slow to trade assets. Therefore not as attractive

    • @shazoids

    Many people want to conveniently forget that Labour will soon put measures in place that will decimate around 80% of the BTL investors. The UK is probably the only country in the Western world where over 1million people are holding properties as investments. A huge chunk will soon be released on the market. Fun times ahead, and forget about properties funding your pension. This is over now...

      Don't you think that huge chunk of these properties will be bought or repossessed by banks which tenants in situ since their rights are protected by upcoming bill. Therefore pushing rental market from private to corporate landlords?

    I had to skip through because it was 1 hour 20 minutes of rambling. YT is primarily watched for entertainment, not information. Information can be pulled from an internet search, online news or Chat GPT. Providing one to one advice isn't going to get many views. Viewers will soon get bored with people discussing their mortgage approval. Success with a YT channel all comes down to the appeal of the presenter(s). The subject is often irrelevant. What does help is getting out of the same four walls and visiting locations. How about accompanying FTB'ers when they view a property and providing your advice real time. Or visiting seller's property to review their property and discuss their sale in their home?

    • @MovingHomewithCharlie

      To be fair it was 40 minutes of answering live Q&A and chatting with live viewers. So only 40 minutes of rambling. I did warn everyone with the title!

      I respectfully disagree. You Tube is a massive source of information for so many people. Learning languages, dog training, how to build a house/swimming pool/shed etc, crafting, how to start a business, learn to trade, bitcoin etc etc. The subject is the main draw! Thats what people put in the search box!

    If you’re going to produce a “show” then forget about the format (that will come later). Focus on defining the goals, objectives and outcomes. What are you actually trying to achieve? How will the world be improved after a show? It might mean going back to basics. I think 5 Fact Friday works - but make it a short, 10 mins feature, talking about economic/political/social factors of the week that affect the house market.

    I assume that this video is about [and has been prompted by] dwindling viewing numbers; I haven't watched the whole video as 1hr 20mins as its far too long. I think the comments below although are 'nice' don't really help you understand the situation....so why as a [former] regular viewer of your content have I found myself returning less and less?...basically for two reason, 1. They were very repetitive; 'same old, same old', so I wasn't really getting anything new from them, and 2. Far too verbose, where you said something and then 'laboured' it coming back 'again and again'; this meant an informative 10-15 minute video was often unnecessarily 30-40 minutes long BUT I didn't know this until watching to the end!
    What did you do well? FFF and the STRUCTURED sessions with Stig [rather than the drunken rambling ones]. Hopefully a) you will take this reply in the nature of which it is written i.e. to help you refocus, and b) no feel that you have to be defensive. 🙂
