Not sure if you know this already but you can gather raspberries from bushes in act 1 and they act as healing during combat but don't consume bonus action. Really nice for proccing the Kagha amulet poison damage during fights. Just try to remember not to consume the raspberries at full rest since they count as camp supplies.
Thanks, I do know though. I ran around last run with a dead squirrel filled with berries and roasted dwarf 😅. Never had a good opportunity to eat it though!
I'm playing as a Paladin this time around, eventually going for a Sorcadin build of some sort. Both classes I'm unfamiliar with so it should be interesting haha!
Nice work! For the hyenas, I'm not sure if you got the XP for evolving them. If you start combat first and then just let them evolve, you get 20 XP for each and then also the XP for killing the gnolls afterwards. Maybe I just missed that, I just didn't see anything pop up in the vid. Just thought I'd let you know in case you didn't know! Also, the Flind fight was terrifying but very exciting. When one of them crit on you, I was like fuck that's it, but then you came back strong. I would panic so hard during that lol. Good job!
Close one. I could see you weighing the options of using that last bonus action for an attack, or a potion. Could you show your current gear and stats?
I have been recording gear and stats a bit more further into the series. Here I'm using something like this: haste helm, Karlach chest piece, defense gloves from blighted village, reverb boots, +1 daggers x 2, initiative bow, ring of protection, caustic band and broodmothers. Check 16:08 for stats
Wow that was a tough one, i've never tried the flind fight without illithid powers. Good job mate. The reverb procs are from the ability drain I supose?
Weren't there some point at the end on that ledge where running away or drinking that invi potion would have allowed you to heal and reposition? (He asks, not half the player you are)
Such a dirty fight, not your luckiest hour for sure. And im wondering where do you get magick armor scrolls ? They are not very common drop and sometimes it's even hard to buy them

I’ve never known about that. Thank you. ❤
I've used raspberries every run except now when I try, they are only camp supplies - at least in hardcore...nerfed
Phew ... that was a close one. All those "Miss ... Miss... Critical Hit..." is really unnerving. 😱. Glad you made it. 👍
Hah yea it's been so many misses and enemies ending up with 1 hp in this run so far!
Thank you Loviatar for your painful blessing!
Hell yes, we do like that blessing :)
I was on the edge of my seat for the whole video
Got a bit sweaty there a few times! :)
me too
Nice! That was a wild ride. I'm a bit nervous to attempt this encounter on my current solo run lol.
Can go wrong kinda fast! What are you running as?

@@JR41N3 Neat! Love the thematic part of those classes!
Butt was clenched that whole last fight
Haha! Was kinda rough!

Ah hm, I'll have to check that out! Maybe I've been messing that up.
That fight can go wrong fast, really rough with those 3 attacks this early on!
@@FriendlyLich I confirm this information that in battle hyenas give XP, born gnolls give additional XP. Just have fun)
terrifying
Agreed!

Thanks! Here it's from the poison on the daggers. It should/will proc from ability drain too once I get that!
16:51 use the arrow of blow things away and they'd fall into the chasm
That's a good point. I'm not sure why I didn't go for it, maybe I didn't realize it

Oh you’re 100% correct. I just try to avoid resetting unless I’m sure that I’m going to die

Agree, it was rough. I believe I looted 1 and bought 2. Either from Druid halfling or zentharim.
Are you planning to run double psychic blades with resonance stone?
Hm, I don't think I'll do that but I plan on picking it up in case I change my mind
Thought you were gonna use illithid powers this run...couldve made the flind attack the other gnolls.
I used it last run so I wanted to do something different this time :)
