"And you really think you're fooling everybody don't you" 😂😃😅😆
This is my 2nd fav! But you two out did yourselves "cleaning" the crusty old food off each other. Priceless
Later years Johnny did a show that took unique clips from past shows and talked about them a bit........ this clip turned out Ed was going though a very messy devorice and the final decree was that very afternoon. Ed went out, and as Ed put it took a "special long lunch".
Thanks for the back story.
Interesting tidbit that is totally understandable.
2 WWII Vets...........just like my Dad............OLD SCHOOL......do not make men like that anymore....now skinny jeans and plucked eye brows and tight baby t shirts....
As one does in such a situation. And he didn't call off and have Doc fill in for him; because the show must go on. Then he made a very enjoyable night of it for all involved.
That's an interesting theory. However, note that he is wearing a wedding ring. NO one finishing a messy divorce is still wearing a wedding ring. That story is bunk.
What do you mean appears? He was freakin' hammered!
It's been all downhill since Johnny. He was at his best in these spontaneous moments.
He was the greatest. Had talent unlike Seinfeld and Conan. Who of those two has less talent? It's a toss up, I guess.
@Jordan Morris yeah. Letterman is a legend too!!
@Jordan Morris I don't really care for Letterman, but I think Conan was great, at least when I used to watch him. He was actually a good interviewer, which helps. And he had his own very distinct personality. Een though I don't care for Letterman, I can see that he put his own stamp on the show. It was more intelligent and spontaneous than the stuff put out today.
2 WWII Vets............my hero s
@@US_ARMY_25_INF._DIV. So where my Dad and two uncles . All saw combat. 2 in Europe 1 in the Pacific.
Hard to believe Johnny and Ed are gone what a treat growing up with them!!!
My mom would say, “Ed’s drunk again.”. I still miss Johnny!
The funniest part is watching Carson reacting to Ed as this unfolds ... Carson is amused and finds it hilarious ....
