I am glad I agree with Destiny on something. 😅 I would also like to add that Palastine and Hamas are actively tesching their children to hate Jews. There is multiple videos out showing Hamas actively recruiting child soldiers through "summer camps" and others showing graduation celebrations with students acting out an attack against the jews.

@@marclucido5721this is alarmingly accurate. I’ve watched videos that show the cartoons, textbooks, and children shows that encourage these innocent children to kill all Jews, Jews are bad, they’re evil, it’s all their fault, and that martyrdom is the best way to go out. At a Hamas rally, one father is holding his infant daughter. He is asked if he would be happy if she turned into a su!cide bomber in the future. With a big smile he said “of course!” He would support her, encourage her, and help her anyway he could.
It truly is disgusting. I’m a parent, I couldn’t imagine wishing for such a brutal end to my innocent child.

This fellow, like all pro-Palestinian apologists, cannot admit to the possibility that the Palestinians have done anything wrong. Their default stance is that the Palestinians are always victims, that they are always the oppressed, and that therefore, they are always right. They can't admit that a seeming minority (the Palestinians are not a minority) can be wrong. It does not fit within their worldview. If they admit that, then suddenly they have to be objective, and that will destroy their entire narrative.

1:15:44 This is the thesis of every Progressive. "those with power are ALWAYS oppressors. Those without power are ALWAYS oppressed. Being the oppressor is NEVER morally justifiable and no action the oppressor takes other than surrendering to the oppressed is justifiable. The oppressed have zero responsibilities to be civil and are justified in any action that has the goal of removing the oppressor from power." They see all human interaction as the competition between oppressor and oppressed, but the oppressor cannot use any advantage they have gained from their power because to do so would be "unfair". Hamas has no air defense or air force so the use of air power by Israel is "unfair". Its a childish view of the world they have never grown out of and it is sad to see.

Not exactly a surprise he can't envision the feelings of Israelis about a one-state solution here -- he sees them as white, and he hates white people, so any discomfort they feel with Palestinian support of atrocities against them is inherently racist and unjustified. I don't get why people don't ever push back on the 22k casualty number. We have no idea what the ratio of civilians vs Hamas/terrorist deaths is. Yes, most of the deaths will more than likely be civilians, which is fucking terrible, but that's mostly on the group who hijacks civilian infrastructure and intentionally sets up in densely populated areas. Unfortunately, the primary group who determines these casualty numbers is at the very least affiliated with Hamas, at the worst directly controlled, giving them reason to count as many casualties as possible without differentiating between civilians and Hamas fighters.
Also, just because a casualty is a kid (person under 18), or a woman, doesn't mean they're a civilian. It's fucked up, but Hamas/other terrorist groups do use people under 18. I've read instances of 9-year-olds even being used.
I believe in a free Palestine, and I want the war to stop, but the people supporting/feeding into the propaganda of Hamas are only ensuring the conflict will continue beyond this war.

"Violence is not the answer, the only way is negotiation. "
Israel tried that with Hamas multiple times, and every ceasefire has been broken by Hamas. As part of the previous ceasefire in 2021, Hamas wanted a larger fishing zone and for Gazans to get job opportunities inside Israel.
On October 7th, Hamas sent boats with militants carrying rockets towards Israel. The larger fishing zone made it possible for Hamas to fire rockets further into Israeli territory. Some of the Hamas terrorists killed in the kibbutzim were found carrying Israeli working permits, and it was discovered that they had used their janitorial jobs in these areas to carry out reconnoisance as preparation for the attack.
A lot of pro-Palestinians living across the pond don't know what's actually going on in Israel, and don't know what it's like to live next to an existential threat that wants to destroy you. Israel is smaller than the state of Michigan, and the Gaza Strip is only an hour away from Jerusalem. It's easy for people with no stakes to tell Israel what they should do, but for those living there it's a fight for their very existence that Hamas cannot accept.
As for myself, I supported the two-state solution until October 7th. I've come to realize that it would only lay the foundation to another large scale attack against Israel. And in the aftermath, the world would blame Israel for letting it happen, just like Guterres did when he claimed that the October 7 massacre didn't happen in a vacuum.

The biggest problem with these media outlets talking about military news, is that most to none of the journalists talking ever done time in the military.
They don't actually know what they're talking about.
If they joined the army and served for a few years before leaving to get their journalism degree, we might be having smarter reporting, but they don't do that.
That's why more people should join the army, it's not all fire and brimstone, many people get paid a lot of money to sit in front of a computer going over documents for some naval base, never needing to shoot a gun outside of training.
But because civilians sometimes die in wars that means the army is a horrible job.

    20. Actually, in this piece of land there has been everything, EXCEPT A PALESTINIAN STATE.
    (Borrowed from a friend)
A little more history for those wanting to 'restore Palestine'.
In 132 AD the Emperor Hadrian resolved to stamp the Jews and their religion out of existence. He sold all Jewish prisoners into slavery after the revolt of Bar Kikhba, forbade the teaching of the Torah, renamed the province Syria Palaestina, and changed Jerusalem’s name to Aelia Capitolina. He renamed Israel to wipe out the national identity of Israel and the Jews.
So if you are looking to 'restore Palestine to the Palestinians', you need to give it back to the Jews.

No one that isn’t invested in countering the approved narrative like Destiny exists within the normie sphere. Most people see this conflict as really strong people with all the power shitting on weaker people and that Hamas is a byproduct of that. All the geopolitical factors and potential power grabs is too high level for most people and seeing Twitter videos of grieving dads who lost their kids to a bomb is enough for most people to take an emotional stand. Your framing of everybody who doesn’t agree with you just not being Enlightened is a common trap people fall into to justify their beliefs
This is a powerful group oppressing a smaller group. It’s not really nuanced or complicated compared to other conflicts that make me hesitate to see one side with a greater moral claim.
I think your framing is really cheap and sets your self up above others as the enlightened fellow while everyone else is lead by emotion.
