I have the rambox as well. Did you ever end up cutting those pads on the sides? If so, just wondering the pad was still covered underneath or was the padding now exposed. Thanks
@@Darealwessam I guess I totally missed that part of the video ha ha I can’t seem to get my bed cover to close all the way. It just doesn’t seem to want to do it. I don’t have the RAM boxes like you though (wish I did!!). I’ll play around with it a little. I really want this thing to be able to stay on. Quality is really great. Did you end up cutting those little pieces, by the way?
@@johngow8844 hey John in the video I gave ram boxes and you might want to go with the smaller truck size one or you can do what I did just cut the foams in on the sides and it works great
@@Darealwessam okay thanks. I feel like I've been going round in circles searching everything and there is very very little info online about this issue. I do see those two outer pads are the issue stopping the tailgate closing flush, so cutting them would be a good idea. I think the full size offers better protection for the tailgate. Also, the smaller sizes are less deep so it may be a struggle to align correctly vertically.

Thanks for the review. Yes Fox owns Raceface.
That’s great to know thank you for the confirmation
Just got this one for 40 bucks!
Hows it holding?
Is the inside of the pad microfiber?
I am not sure if exactly microfibre but it’s very very soft I haven’t had a problem at all with scratches at all
Curious if you can get your bed cover to close with the pad installed?
Yes you can in one part of the video it shows I have to kinda crush it a bit but it works
