I live in Gilbert, and this is actually the first year that I’ve ever rode on the HM Trails. Our free “outlaw” trails are getting shut down more, and more every year, due to mining permits, gas wells, and private property owners(like hunting clubs). Don’t get me wrong, we still have lots of local “outlaw” trails, but it was time for me to branch out, and enjoy our little National Treasure. Haha. I like seeing people coming to our neck of the woods, and I often stop to shoot the shit, and see where they’re from. Couple of notes… The black trails are generally doable, unless there’s been a lot of rain. However, stay away from the double black, unless you’re willing to chance rolling your machine, or spending money on repairs. Also, get yourself a Talon, and belt issues will be a thing of the past. I love mine! Would love to hear your feedback….. and maybe next time the weather won’t be so shitty for you guys.
Good insight. The trails (HM & Outlaw) are worth traveling from all over the country to experience. You're lucky they are "out your back door." We hope to get back there again in the Fall season or Spring. Thanks for watching and for your message.
Im from Louisiana would like to bring my wife and ride a c.f. moto 800xc, are ther Trails that I can ride that are less challenging to bring my wife on the back .and if so how many, thanks.
You can download their maps from their website, or get maps wherever they sell their trail stickers. The green trails and most blue trails are all going to be easy enough for you to pass confortably.
Yes. There are trails that u can ride without getting too crazy. Maps have green, blue, black and double black diamond. Stay on the green and blues if you like.
