I plan on building a biodigester instead of a septic tank for the next house I am building in Sierra Leone too. You can use treated coconut fibres for the bedding which doesn't require adding enzymes. Alternatively you can use sawdust which should be easy to get from carpenters and just sprinkle some manure on it.
