I just came from your high probability liquidity run video. Based on that video, in the diagram at 0:25, you would expect the bearish trend to continue and think of the previous high being broken as a liquidity sweep. Here on the other hand, you are saying there will be a change of character. Now I would think it is possible for either to happen. Could you clarify this concept for me please?
In the final section of this video - around the 10:50 mark and onward - when you refer to choosing only one type of strategy - would you say that it is best to determine a single type of entry for your self as the trader no matter what you are trading, per stock, class of stock? This question is somewhat rhetorical because the answer is most likely to begin by choosing just one for your self after some back testing and then testing each of these possibilities with the time to waiting for your trade to play out. So I suppose what I am most interested in getting your perspective on is whether you think constant back testing for the possibility of trying new strategies is helpful or not? On the one hand, it could allow you to become more adaptive, but on the other it could lead to a greater chance of doubting the decisions you’ve made and changing strategy to often and dooming your longterm profitability potential. There’s a lot to unpack here but if you have any thoughts on these topics I would be very interested to hear what they are. Thanks!
