Hello Mr. Mez, thanks for your videos.
I would like to know if there is a way to check parameters by using a checklist on Excel or similar way.

Hi Martino! Depending on the version of Creo you are using, you can export your parameters to an excel spreadsheet using Tree Columns / Auto Bill of Materials. I personally am not a huge fan of it, but it's really a personal preference thing. The other option would be using the PTC database software to export all of that type of information. Hope this helps!

    Hello !
    Thanks for your tutorial.
To complete my understanding I would like to know which codes you have used in your titleblock so that the data entered in the part template is read correctly.
    Thanks a lot

      Hi!
Yes, after I asked the question I found your other video and I am able to create my titleblock with the attributes.
I still have difficulty maintaining the settings I want for the drawing sheet like font size for dimensions, text colors, dihedral for the views, arrow sizes. I've made these adjustments but I can not make them stay.
But since I'm learning to customize Creo, I'm going to see the tutorials available and learn how to do it.
I have long used Autodesk Inventor that has a more user friendly interface, but a client is migrating to Creo and I need to provide projects on this platform.
      Thanks a lot

      Hello
Sorry for the persistence, but how do I create a .dtl file from config.pro?
Is the user creating the file or the program generating a dtl after saving a new config?

Hi Paulo, sorry for taking so long to get back to you again. DTL file comes from your drawing properties. If you save a copy of the drawing properties it will save it as a DTL file. I'm sorry I'm so bad at keeping up with comments! I'll try to be better.

Hi, Sir, Your videos are very good and helpful! I have a question for you. How to combine Creo Fasteners with the parts on a drawing in the same BOM? I found IFX shares same standard parameter with a Creo model, that conflicts each other in BOM on a drawing. If I separate parts with IFX in two BOMs, then I got problem of balloon number issue. Is there a solution for that? May I know your email ID?

Thank you for the compliment. Auto BOM's can be tricky. In industry, I've set them up several different ways for different businesses I worked at and typically based the complexity on the capability of the users I had at that company. The easiest way to set them up that I've found is to set up a standard start part for all of your models that has parameters you want to incorporate into your BOM. Use these same parameters for your standard parts when you model them (fasteners, bearings, etc.) and export your BOM to Excel or Google Sheets for easy format modification. Hope this helps!
