- So the Far Cry series and Easter eggs have often gone hand in hand. In fact, my first ever easter egg video was an easter egg I found in Far Cry 4. Well, im happy to say that Far Cry 6 continues the series history of Easter eggs as today I bring you a whopping 30 Easter eggs, secrets, references and hidden details in Far Cry 6.

The Buried man with a bucket on his head event is probably a reference to the Far Cry 3 promo where Christopher Mintz-Plasse was in a similar predicament. They also had the same Easter Egg in Far Cry 3 itself.

It bothers me that no one has mentioned the mission early in the game where Juan gives you the flamethrower, your first Resolver weapon, and have to go burn down tobacco fields with loud music playing during the mission. After you finish the mission Dani says “Huh, that felt familiar”, a clear nod to the Flamethrower Dubstep mission in Far Cry 3
Same mission but the Song Bella Ciao, which is a reference to both money hiest a show on Netflix from 2018 as well as it being an old war time song from Italian which was adopted by Argentinian resistance fighters
Remember how they did the Asap/Skrillex beat for that mission?

I think there are multiple things Dani says after you go back into the game. I had accidentally triggered it and once I loaded back into the game he said “Why do I feel so relaxed?”

I just love that Dani sings almost every song at some point in the game. It’s very immersive and keeps the songs fun.
I find it annoying asf. Usually turn off the radio instantly just because of that.

After the Miami Ending, if you hit "Continue Game", you will load in on the dock and get a hidden line of dialogue of Dani saying "Why do I feel so relaxed?"

One of the things you missed about the secret ending; the American Flags in the background have the majority of the stars replaced by a big Eden's Gate symbol. It's very difficult to see on lower graphic settings, but clear as day on higher ones.
EDIT: I've uploaded a clip of the ending on my channel, since a few people couldn't seem to find it online or see the symbols.

2:40 is a reference to farcry 3: the farcry experience short film where chris is buried in the sand by vass having a metal bucket over his head while fire crackers are going off inside the metal bucket.
I'm beginning to feel that the canon timelines for all the modern Far Cry games is where the protagonist walks away. If Vaas is alive then Jason just left the island, If Mihn is alive then AJ waited for him to return. And if Hurk is still alive and able to get Boomer out of Montana, I bet the Deputy walked away at the final confrontation with Seed.
New Dawn is a what if scenario in this hypothetical.
Just because you walked away it doesn't mean it didn't happened. The nuke goes off anyway as it was state throughtout the whole lore of the game. If you listen carefully the radio says something about some worldwide conflict, there is nothing that connects Vaas is alive and Jason walked away. The voice actor is just there for pure service, you don't need canon endings to explain everything.
It’s more likely that they are different timelines that each game takes place in a timeline we’re the events of each game don’t happen but the characters are still alive

Maybe the greatest detail I found in Far Cry 6 is, during the opening scene, there is a point where you use a zipline to cross the street. After you land, you look to the right to see a small shrine-ish area. Inside, you see a cat playing with a mouse. But, it isn't a normal mouse. It is a computer mouse

The pagen min magazines confirm that either the secret ending or the letting pagen leave kyrat endings are the canon endings. It doesn't mean that we killed a body double or that the face on the magazine is a double.
I think the secret ending is the cannon, Since its the only one where Pagan Min still leads Kyrat.

I think the cannon Ending is letting Pagan alive, with AJ realizing the mistakes he made and having to deal with it living in Kyrat.
does no one remember the ending of the far cry 4 where you can choose to spare him, you don't have to kill pagan at the end of the game.

To be honest with all this hinting that the villains never died, I wonder if Ubisoft is planning anything. Maybe I’m look into it too much.

“Toasty” and “Frosty” could also be references to the old Mortal Kombat games that had audio designer Dan Forden pop up in the corner of the screen and say either “toasty” or “frosty” when doing certain moves.
Farcry 4's cannon ending is the one where you just wait for 15 minutes and he brings you to the end. That is why he is alive. 5:47
There are 2 endings were Pagan min survives. The secret ending. And if you chose to not kill him at the supper table when you revisit. He takes you to the shine. And then basically hands kyrat over to you, and flies away in a chopper

Aside from 2, where the only drugs are the malaria pills keeping you alive. And the first one, where Jack/The Jackal just kind of takes the existence of mutants as well as any hero might.
Ubisoft has an unhealthy obsession with adding drug trips into their games tbh
Funfact, the boat you got from Clara is a special boat, as you can't scan it or park it in a boatparking. This boat triggers the secret ending way sooner (after leaving the island) while normal boats you need to travel to the edge of the map.
Another cool detail: at the start of the game Clara gives you a Fal (your first assault rifle). However it is kinda strange you get a FAL rather than the iconic AK-47 like every guerilla uses while your allies never use a FAL (even tough the AK-47 looks more like a AK-M, and the AK-M in FC looks like some frankenstein gun) Now the FN-FAL basically is the western counterpart of the AK-47. Wildly produced, lot of them in the world, and easy to make. Therefore gun is called ''The right arm of the Free World''. So basically Clara gives you the right arm for a free world, and it is on you to make that happen.
I believe what he calls the "Marvel post credit scene" would be a nod to Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid series. After the credits in every game there is always a conversation that reveals something shocking or a crazy plot twist.
Ubisoft has said that Far Cry 6 exists in a different world from the previous games with some connections. I imagine it as a multiverse. So the characters from the previous games exist in Far Cry 6 but the events of the story played out differently. That's why all the old villains are still alive.

@Hayden Williams I'm not saying you're wrong. There's just literally an infinite number of ways to explain the Far Cry 6 universe. The biggest problem is the nuclear war at the end of Far Cry 5. Nothing you do in the game can prevent that. Seed wasn't responsible for nuke. It would be would hilarious if in the Far Cry 6 universe Joseph Seed gets arrested and then nothing happens. I don't actually think that's what happens because of the Seed family note in Far Cry 6.
@Hayden Williams That is true. But I don't think mail is getting sent in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. I don't think any nukes were dropped in the Far Cry 6 universe. Especially considering the peaceful ending of Far Cry 6. It's also possible that we're all over thinking it and Ubisoft didn't plan this at all.
@@zachplummer625 far cry 6 takes place before or during far cry 3 and they said “another national lockdown” so I assume it takes place during far cry 3 and due to the fact that national lockdown is part of the division so it’s all coming together into one ubiverse they said it too along time ago all Ubisoft games are connected
When you aim down the sight of the Discos Locos, the disc starts spinning faster and thus the music starts playing, which not only counts as an easter egg, but also as a nice detail

Other small details. When someone says hello or greets Dani. She/he will respond. Also if you go back to the beginning island. She will comment on how different it looks without Castillo’s men
Pagan Min reference can mean that out of all Far Cry 4 endings the one where you didn't shot Min when he offered you a dinner and he flew away is canon. Remember that you COULD shoot him with a rocket launcher but it didn't need to happen

I think that is Jason Brody or at least alluding to what his actual fate ended up being. I think what ubisoft is trying to show is that in all the far cry games the protagonist lose the fight. How Pagan Min has interviews on magazine and its 2021. How Joseph Seeds’ family are still active and pushing the moon flower now even in Yara. How the smuggler talking with Juan is Vaas’s voice at the end. Which would mean that maybe Jason never did any of that stuff in 3 or completely left to begin and failed thus being dead on the beach or some other grim fate I mean he wasn’t even combat trained like his brother was so its kinda crazy to think he was able to rambo an entire island. Just how Dani who would be more realistically capable can just go to the states and let the Castillo win here as well. Which is just showing that in the morbid realistic world the bad guys with more power and influence would actually be the winners.

Honestly, I actually cried tears of pure joy when I discovered Boomer. That’s how much the characters of 5 bonded with me. I was so happy Boomer was alive.

I'm really enjoying this game. I get it's a lot like the previous versions (for better or for worse) but it's a lot of fun. The highlight for me is the amount of weapons and the customization you can do to each one. Oh and the islands are really beautiful
I love that Vaas is one of the three villains in the dlc, considering he wasn’t meant to be the “main” villain in FC3. Michael Mando is a legend for creating that character and becoming so iconic to the series. So damn cool. Also thankfully Ubisoft recognized what he would bring to the game and put a good amount of focused on Vaas.

One thing me and my partner found cool is in the cutscenes the male and female dani react and move definitely. Where we have our TV next to each other when we play coop we can see the cutscenes next to each other 😊 i find it cool they gave each choice a different personality

I don't know what far cry 4 did you played but you don't kill pagan min at the end, it's a hidden thing so he probably got away whit his elicopter, but considering the 15 minutes secret ending since is the most realistic one according the devs he didn't die anyway

There are 3 endings. One where you wait for him. One where you kill him at the end. And one where you let him go, you spread your mothers ashes and he leaves in a helicopter
You don't have to kill Pagan in Far Cry 4. If you wait for him in the beggining, he comes back and takes you to the endgame instantly.

I remember when ubisoft came out with a list of things like dinosaurs and Vietnam, space and some other options and they wanted us to vote on which game we would like and basically expect for the dinosaurs actually being alive, that’s the only one we haven’t seen yet and I think they’re hinting at it hella hard

After completing the mission where you burn the Viviro with the flamethrower, Dani will say it would feel familiar. A reference to the mission where you burn the drugs in far cry 3, again with a flamethrower.

in far cry 4 there is an option that you can just sit in your seat to wait for peagan, or you can have the option to spare him in the final moments of the game and that correlates to the far cry six where you see peagan in the magazines and also the viviro that juan is selling to in the end of the game might've end up in tibet and druged peagan to have his visions in the upcoming far cry DLC. bois it's all coming together here

i like that pagan min could still be alive (there was an ending where min lives and flies off to go do something else) so im guessing that was the canon ending and discos locos is available without preordering once you reach lvl 7
Here’s another Easter egg I noticed, which takes place during the Spur Of The Moment mission.
(SPOILERS)
In said mission you must go into a bunker that some psychopath used to preform sick experiments with roosters. There’s feathers, hay, & chickens strewn about everywhere. Dani gets creeped out & says “if chickens start coming out of the walls, it’s game over.”
This is a clear reference to the movie Aliens, in which the character Hudson says 2 iconic lines:
“They’re coming out of the walls!” & “Game over man!”
I noticed that too! There are also rooster nests that are meant to represent the facehugger eggs from Aliens.
I’ve instantly got the vibes of the video with the animated revolver cylinder to be the clock from the new Loki series as well as the screen making the weird glitching affects. Looks very similar!
If you do the mission the seeds of loves you can find a flower with the cult logo or whatever you call it and a note from the seed family or you can just go there, it's located at oceguera farm

Captain, at literally any point in the game, it can be at the start of the game, or the end, if you just take a boat and go out of bounds, you end up at that same cutscene with Dani on the beach

In the mission "spur of the moment" you go into a cave and dani says "if roosters start popping out of the wall, its game over man" the entire mission is a reference to aliens. The main rooster has nests like the eggs from alien

I believe that yara wasnt effecfed by the collapse. In the expedition in new dawn where you can find the splinter cell easter egg the world map of all the ereas that were effected you can see that nukes didnt drop in some places. Its been a while since i played that expedition so i cant remeber what places werent hit.

Sometimes while u are driving in the strange world of Farcry 6, with the radio on. You can hear Dani sing along to the music and it’s pretty cool. He has done it to 3 songs during my times of play through.

The secret ending is actually when the leader of the militia gives you the boat your character asked for, there's no checkpoint or marker but if you just stick to heading towards and past the nearby islands and you'll get a cutscene soon after

As someone who was deeply saddened by Boomer's death and the fact that the only times we spent with him was in a buggy shithole of a game which didn't really focus on any of the buddy's stories and completely ignored all of them for the whole game except for Nick who is out of all 9 buddies the only one who was actually part of the story, I'm glad we can spend another game with Boomer boy

Also worth mentioning about the Far Cry 5 bliss Easter egg is that the dialogue the woman says is the same as the monologue Joseph Seed gives at the beginning when the Deputy goes to arrest him. Nice little detail
In chivalry 2 when you star to go on a multible killing strike the little scores points (whatever it's called) it starts to reference unreal tornament score points
Head in a bucket is a reference to 'The Far Cry Experience' where Vaas tortures a guy for like a week while he's buried up to his neck in the sand. The same reference is also within Vaas's mindscape DLC, near the coastline several upturned buckets in the sand will beg for help and ask you to remove the bucket from his head.
I believe that is Jason Brody, Dani Rojas takes his "iconic" machete. Also considering the "smuggler" at the end is Vaas Montenegro. Love these games!

With the bucket on the guys head, it's also referencing the movie done as a prequel for Far Cry 3.
Also, after burning the tobacco fields, Dany makes a comment about it feeling familiar, referencing the flame thrower mission from Far Cry 3.
Last one I can think of is the fun text for the MS16L (which is the M14/M1A in real life). The text is another Full Metal Jacket quote.
Also, when checking the ms16-l, it also references full metal jacket.
15:40 thats not the only time i seen that symbol on the ground first time i saw it i tried looking for a collectible and tried to find a way to it but ended up in a cave entrance with a dead end and a glowing symbol on the wall
11:50 There is a similar easter egg in Far Cry 5 where at the back of the helicopter’s seat there is a note with a funny text
