I love these updates, Thank you. The spark arrestor explanation was fascinating. How does having such a restricted route through the smokebox for the flue gasses affect the draughting of the fire? Is it harder for the loco crew to keep the fire healthy?

I believe it is a C2 but as ever it is a private project locked in a private shed so we have no access to it for these videos. We will try to find out and feature it at some stage.

Looking at the carriage sheds it’s all a bit different than things were in my first visit to the FR in 1961!

Main cameras are Sony PXW Z90Vs. We also use GoPros and occasionally footage from an iPhone 12maxpro.
