    They have to apply Poka-yoke = "mistake-proofing", refer to any behavior-shaping constraint designed into a process to prevent incorrect operation by the user.
    For example, built a crystal wall in the inner platform, so that people can not touch the static zone

    This is where a kid died today, due to being stuck between the rotating floor and the wall. I don't see how that could happen but it's such a sad situation. My prayers to the family of the child.

      Same thing happened at Disneyland in CA. Back when they had America Sings. They ended up installing sensors to detect someone in the way after a worker was crushed.

      Precisely. There's certain areas along the wall during the rotation where you could be pinned. I'd be shocked if there were no warning signs to watch your children.

    Why is everyone blaming the parents? There was a clear design flaw that should've been noted. You have 2 objects that can't be moved colliding with each other leaving a couple of inches of space: a table and a wall column. If someone is even standing next to the table for 2 seconds before it collides with the column, they are crushed! Normally, when people wander around a restaurant they don't run the risk of getting crushed to death.

    Why nobody blames the Restaurant is beyond me . Its bad design is a death trap . The restaurant must feel lucky because nobody else has died before this poor child . They will have to take full responsibility for this tragic accident . But no amount of money will bring this adorable baby back . My deep condolence to the victim 's family

      I do agree that the instructions about watching kids/not bringing them at all, should have been incredibly clear.They tried to accommodate everyone despite the safety risks involved.The restaurant is going to be under a lot of heat for this.

    at 58 seconds in if you look at the 4inch gap between the windows and tables that's what he got caught in. As he went head first it didn't stop in time and crushed him too soon.
    Whole thing could of been prevented if it had a L shaped guard with those things you get similar to street sweepers over the top, covering the gap completely.

    • @etheros2959
      @etheros2959 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      whole thing could have been prevented if the tables were a safe distance from the walls. but of course it is important to maximize utilization of floor space instead of safety.

    How is something designed with a pinch point like this. Who was the engineer? Who was the building inspector? The building code should be updated to prevent an accident like this from ever happening again.

    When we went out to eat here last week and the food was excellent, it was approaching dusk so the city lights were starting to become visible in the distance and the setting sun was just visible on the horizon. I ordered the chicken fettuccine alfredo with creme brulee and my wife tried the peppercorn steak with ceasar salad. We laughed and joked during dinner about if the room was actually moving or we finally had too much wine to drink. Our waiter was very pleasant and did not let me run out of breadsticks so I tipped him handsomely. All in all I would rate the experience three out of five stars, only losing two stars due to my sons head getting crushed in the vice like grip of the restaurants nightmare cogs.

It's a tourist attraction on top of a 73 story building overlooking the city... so obviously it's going to excite little kids and they're going to want to get up and look at the view. So many assholes blaming the parents - but who's the jerk that decided to bolt the furniture to the floor?
