PSA: stasher bags are dishwasher safe. They’re expensive, but their quality is there. Dishwasher safe, microwave safe, even oven safe (up to a certain temp). They’re awesome. They also seal VERY well
I LOVE Stasher bags! I wait until they are on sale like prime day and sometimes you can find good deals at Kohl's and Target too!
Having stuff prepared in the fridge is definitely super helpful for packing meals. I don’t have kids, but I’m a teacher, so I pack a lunch & snack each day. Having that stuff ready to go makes it super simple & I have a formula I can do. So I just go to fridge & grab 1 fruit, 1 cheese, crackers, nuts/nut butter for snack, then 1 protein, a pasta/rice/starch, a veg, etc for lunch

Hi Jen! You got me started meal prepping years back and I do it every Sunday evening or afternoon. It’s been so awesome because I love getting up and having stuff ready to go. The curtains look really nice in your bedroom. Here in Tennessee it doesn’t even feel like Spring yet. It’s still very cool and raining constantly. I don’t know about you but I’m so ready for warmer spring days and the sun shining. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day!

The reusable bag struggle is so real!! I feel like I waste a lot of water washing then and I live in California where we will forever be in a drought so water is expensive and not something to be wasted.

I started leaving grapes on the stems because the way we go thru grapes in this house I'd spend my whole life picking grapes 😂 I peel a bunch of oranges at once too. Eat half of them as I peel lol

Good to see a video from you. Murphy is so darn cute I just love him❤️ I have fruit to cut up tomorrow. Pineapple, cantaloupe and watermelon. I made chili today for the freezer. Getting ready for Easter week. We’ll be grilling and smoking meat. Tis the season since it feels like summer is here already. Hurricane season starts June 1 less than 2 months away.

Jen-I have the same fruit/veggie keeper with the tray. I have out them in the top rack of my dishwasher with no problem. They really work well and I like that I can stack them. Thanks for another great video.

Jen, I enjoyed seeing your subscription box products. I put my FabFit box on hold too. I’m taking bag after bag of things to Goodwill, so I asked myself why I needed more “things”. Just wanted to day, I use the metal clips for bookmarks, I keep them clipped to the book, while I’m reading. I always lose other types of bookmarks, maybe it’s just me. Have a great week😀

I've noticed that Walmart's prices on a lot of items have been the lowest... I found a huge container of cherry tomatoes there the other week for $4.98 - made my day! & yes - ibotta is awesome... I recently cashed out over $100.00 which included $25 back on a hotel stay in Orlando. I can't believe more people don't take advantage of it!! Great share as always! ❤

Ok, another comment. I heard a recommendation on a travel show to pack your flat iron in an oven mitt, which is a great idea, but if you could find an insulated cover for a pan handle like a cast iron pan that was large enough, even better.

I have 4 windows in my *tiny* room that form two corners. Currently, I have blinds but like you said, they don't block the sun & other lights. I want to get black-out curtains but will probably put sheers behind them.
Our local stores also take forever to get new products. I finally found the Impossible Wild Nuggs. Saw them on Ibotta weeks ago. Don't know why we never get the new products or trendy products. Last week I found the trendy macaroni and cheese ice cream at Walmart. Took weeks to find it! Very good considering what itt sounds like. Surprising.

I stopped my fabfitfun this year and I miss it! I chose that shampoo for my last box and loved it. I’ve never seen a facial dry brush. That seems like not a good idea to me haha. If you ever come across Kate Somerville Dermalquench liquid lift I think it’s called you should give it a try.
What kind of salt do you use? I recently started using Redmonds Real Salt, it’s mined in Utah. I have been trying so many different salts lately, I have enough salt for a army! Lol. Thanks for an awesome video!!

Reusable bag hack! Before you actually wash them fill them with hot water and dish soap let sit for maybe a minute then squeeze/shake (gently) around and it gets MOST of the food off and makes cleaning so much easier. Still have to do a wipe but not the same level! 🎉
Yes! Whenever I make steaks, roast, etc... I have to cut some of the fatty pieces off the meat or else that will be all my kids see. And I make sure to loudly remind them I cut the fat off before serving. They're still suspicious 😂.
Next time, your at Costco I highly recommend the Tonkatsu Ramen they have. It's 8 bowls for $10.99 and the flavor is very good.

Jen - not trolling, I promise, I just wanted to ask whether you've researched processed meats such as (sausage, salami, pepperoni)? I know you've been trying to make healthier choices for your family like less added sugar, etc., so just trying to spread awareness since since not all protein is necessarily good protein.
Sounds a lot like trolling Debbie. I’m sure Jen is aware of the nutritional content of processed meats, but her family happens to enjoy it with certain meals as most families do😊

I know many people, including educated people like Jen, don't look at every ingredient on labels or know exactly what's what. I mean, Big Food spends billions trying to convince consumers that what they're selling is good for us so it's easy to think we're making smart choices when they pound BS into our brains.
I agree with Debbie. Regular consumption of processed meat is very unhealthy. That’s one of the things I have cut down drastically this year to feed my family healthier food.
