As a pretty mid sim player these past few days have been a great confidence boost. And 8.0is really enjoyable to just intercept all the bombers and practise using guns as there is no other good way to do so
16:00 yeah 9Ms do that because they turn off their seeker when they detect flares, and rely on IOG until it comes back on. So if the target is flaring but maintaining the sape direction, it's gonna hit regardless ^^. Great flying as always!

Gripen is incredibly broken at 13.0 for sim when 13.0 is top of its bracket. Doesn’t even matter what side you play you’ll dominate, red side doesn’t get the su-27 so it’s stuck with the base MiG-29 or yak-141 and get rinsed and blue side gets the f-15 and f16adf which can put up a fight but still normally lose on top of the horde of f4s players that are free kills
The top tier in Sim is a missile Hell... In small maps like tunnisia, but in the big ones you are more free. Just there a lot o New people who dont know how IFF works and can TK you... Never accept the "sorry" they deserve the SL lost.
I have to say i just started playing sim due to the event and it's such a breath of fresh air. Feels amazing, like wow a new gamemode! The jas39a is so much fun in sim got a match with 15kills and only 2 deaths
Also, do you use track ir or any sort of tools to help you look around? or are you just uing mouse and joystick? iv'e been struggling to move the camera when dogfighting, bvr is fine but finding people during the merge and what not is quite tricky.
Imo it should be different depending on map. For instance 6v6 for Afghan, 4v4 for Denmark and 1v1 or 2v2(at max) for Sinai/Stalingrad/Tunisia and other duel maps that aren’t big even for props It will fix 2 problems: f*cking 1000000v1000000 CoD deathmatch style gameplay and also will fix blue side total domination at least in numbers of players (I mean when there’re no events going - most lobbies are 2-3 v 9-12 which is absolutely horrible for both sides)
But I understand him, it's difficult to find recordings of the games in the simulator, and he usually puts more than one. Just gameplay must take at least 4 hours, and you have to edit everything, and watch the video to be able to comment on the match.

I started sim this event im not good but not bad at all I have a positive KD but I learned pretty quickly like 3 days and I changed my settings. And the more I play the more fun it is.
@@alaricpumani5372 im playing whit mouse and keyboard, and turn wile keep the target in sight whit the C button + mouse and turning whit keys is complicated, i tried using vr but the hud of the plane dont work and i dont know why
@@ivanbonessa120 😔on PS4 the HMD doesn't work neither, but I recommend you to play with a controller, it's easier than a keyboard, 2 joystick 18buttons, can combine them. For keeping the view on your enemies and at the same time controlling your plane... it's better taking a controller 🤗👍
Ah yeah, invisible missiles are just what is needed for the "quality gameplay". So absurdic game wise. Could be nice if in ARB they also don't give the marker for it, in that case we would see how fast that will be acknowledged as gameplay braker. But we are SIM community, Gaijin doesn't care about
And this is why the multipathing needs to be removed... sick of people abusing the broken gripen flight model, the "unlimited" countermesures and the aim-9m.
I know you think Blue side has the advantage. Only in numbers. but when its evenly matched. Red always wins. At least in my experience. Truth is. if they make russian flight models better. Blue wont stand a chance. I refuse to play top tier in the state it's in right now. all maps are too small. Cant have a decent dogfight w/o a 3rd party showing up. Not at top tier. I would be curious to see what it would be like if multipathing only worked 5 or 10% of the time. The other thing I noticed is that red seems to have a ton more people willing to dog fight. Every match I'm a part of, tends to be more bombers and attackers than fighters or people willing to fight for that matter.
what are you talking about? Blue always wins in Sim. Its rigged for them to win. I got 30% winrate on my Mig29SMT in sim battles all while having a kd of 4:1. Its funny how nobody protests this or says anything about it. Literally rigged.

one BVR update and alot of people suddenly struggle like hell with IR missiles and close combat, or are those event noobs lol. ive been slaying f15 and f16c's with su27s using ET an ER at long ranges pretty reliably, grinding towards su27sm still. got the gripen and f15c already but got bored playing blue team when most of the matches are 4:1 advantage against red
13.0 days have been the easiest points of my life. Had a game last night that I was 17-1 within 30 minutes playing gripen an against red side. Only time I really die in fights is when I try to multipath aim-54s and the splash dmg kills me

As an avid 9m user they have gotten better lately than they used to be. Idk if hidden buff or what, but they seem more stable over range
I love when Noobs, Wallet Warriors and Bots come to sim during events. Makes all of our grind easier.
