Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
Build an armoured fort in real-time and arm it to the teeth. Collect resources, develop your tech-tree, unlock advanced weapons to target your opponent's weak points, and feel the satisfaction as their fort comes crashing down.

A nice addition to this mod would be upgradable walls, so you can upgrade your front and turn what looks like a flimsy wooden wall into an Impenetrable Bastion Of Glory, in the name of Biggus Dickus!

upgrading materials is currently not possible in forts :/

You're god-tier at this game. The fact that you can play so fast while simultaneously commentating on yourself is hard to even believe. You get a subscribe just for the sheer skill.
Edit: Oh, and the "money shot" concept is hilarious. Love it.
These indefinite upgrade videos always turn out to be quite something. The pure insanity of it in the later game - like huge amounts of resources or snipers that literally obliterate everything they touch - really mean that the game can end in indefinite ways. Really look forward to every episode, keep it up!!!

Watched this as it came out. It's still being recommended to me 3 years later. And it's STILL great.
Feels like 3 less upgraded miniguns were more effective than the ultra-upgraded one, just on the fire cost at least

Well it wasnt realy the power of the gun, the design was flawed, top heavy and just one support beam, beam gone, base gone. gg
To show you the power of flex tape.. I sawed this base in half
13:13 to be honest if the upgrades increased the health it might be worth using super upgraded weapons as armour on really high eco maps.
You should really try out the flak with this mod, it upgrades into a hellish shotgun that destroys everything. Imagine an AP sniper, but that fires like a shotgun:D
What a fearsome mod! Imagine tier 20, 20mm. It will eat base for breakfast and you don't even have enough storage to fire it lol.
I tried this, and it drastically increases the spread of the shotgun for some reason. So it is unfortunately not possible to do effectively

Incursus: The bob ross of competitive fort building
when he says "Oh dear, Oh my" i think of DD from ED, EDD, EDDY
Is it just me or did it seem that he hit a damage ceiling once he was breaking 1 wood wall per bullet. If the miniguns dont have any penetration value then the only way to go higher would be to have more bullets, i.e. more miniguns. I'm sure upgrading further would help with something like Tanya's where there are much stronger armor options but everything else I'm not sure.
Yes, no point in upgrading once 1 bullet = 1 broken thing.
I hope I wasn't the only one who was all "Upgrade your Economy!" when ever Incursus commented about his lack of metal and/or energy.
Indefinite upgrades is wonderful to watch, please keep making videos with the mod.

If anyone still watches this, I would recommend the mod Alex extra upgrades, it adds in multiple upgrade for tech, material gathering, and semi OP guns, such as a magnet field launcher, with a super mini gun combo
I am heavy weapons guy and this is my gun. It fires 200 Dollar custom tool cartridge rounds at 10000 rounds per minute. It costs 400,000 Dollars to fire this weapon, for twelve seconds.

I was kinda shocked that the guy went down at 10:30, his base was well built and cross braced except for the foundation; but man do those upgrades do a lot of damage!
It was extremely top heavy so when he hit the metal at the front it just went

Great game to watch!
Point of note - the infinite upgrade tactic on the machine gunners actually reaches an apex point due to defense's inability to scale with the infinite scaling damage - because it looks like one bullet will always be consumed by one impact, once the gunners reach the point that they are 1 hitting their way through the base structures, further upgrades only increase the cost of firing, and not the efficiency of the weapon. I say this because toward the end of the video you got to firing costs of 500+ metal and 7K+ energy, but it didn't look like it was any more effective than previous levels.

So here's what my brain though while watching this:
Why not use that insane production to have a ton of guns constantly firing instead of one really upgraded one that fires periodically?
And I do mean a ton of guns. Guns upon guns. Guns on guns, with guns that fire more guns. If there's an empty inch of land, build more guns. And most importantly, never stop firing. Use the sheer amount of dakka coming out of your base as armor. Flying, high velocity armor that fills every molecule of air between the bases.
