Coach Flo in a recent interview with Ato Boldon confirmed he'll have Juju running a few open 400s & 4x4s next yr to help her get over her dislike of the 200m :)

Everything happens for a reason. Richardson still has the fastest time this year. The way Richardson came from way behind to earn silver suggests she would have won had she not had such a horrible start. But there is no coulda woulda in professional track. You have to be able to execute on the day and Julien was able to do just that and is rightly Olympic champion and her country is honoring her historic accomplishment. Julien and her country needed that win more than Richardson did. Richardson needed to lose in order to finally work on her start. So 2028 will be interesting.

Even if Sha'carri had matched the same reaction time to the gun as Julien Alfred's , she would have clocked in at around 10.79, retaining her second place position. Many T&F analysts have confirmed this. Julien had the overall better execution on the day. Looking forward to World Champs next year and ultimately LA28.
