🎉😄 Passed my PMHNP certification board exam yesterday! Thank you SO very much for all your video lessons & instruction! You're the best & I appreciate your time!Helped me tremendously ❤
Definitely worth the listen. This was the only thing I used to study besides practice tests and the purple ANA book, and I passed. At least 80% of the material I saw from ANCC was directly covered in this video or in part 2. Thank you so much for providing this for free. It was very valuable to me!
Been binging on your videos, THANK YOU SO MUCH! Got a green check about an hour ago, so happy! Thanks for helping us pass. So many blessings to you!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I passed my boards last week 🙌 I kept hearing your voice throughout the exam. I finished in two hours 😊 oh that exam is so hard you must know the content to pass. Thank you so much 😊
Passed today!! I just wanna thank you so much for your free videos. Didn’t have to spend any money on those overpriced reviews people offer. Your videos are top notch and I recommend for anyone studying for boards. God bless!
Congratulations Yixi! Welcome to the NP world! 😁 Great to hear. I'm happy to have been part of your journey. Don't forget to click like and share my videos. 🤓 Thank you.
You don't know how much it means to us that you're providing this info for free!!!! I took a class recently that was several hundred dollars and your stuff is even better!!! I wish I could thank you in person. This is so wonderful. My exam is in September and I feel more confident with your reviews !
Listening to these before I take my boards today! Nervous but these videos make me feel more confident! Good luck to everyone prepping for their boards! We got this!
Thank you for your videos! I went through all of them and there were questions that I was able to answer due to your reviews. I just passed my test last Saturday!

Thank you for creating these videos, Your videos helped me pass the exam 1 week ago and helped me fully understand the materials after reading. God bless you!

Hey I stumbled into your videos here and they are phenomenal. Thanks a lot for making those videos. It’s a life saver as I plan on taking my boards soon. God bless you!
Good summary. FYI, you stated that bromocriptine is a receptor blocker, which is the right definition for an agonist unless you mean that that the agonist is blocking the antipsychotic blocker. Also, mentioned that serotonin was involved in the nigrostriatal balance with acetylcholine, instead of dopamine. Also, that tardive dyskinesia is irreversible, which can happen but isn't always the case.
More to come! You got it. You can show your love and support by liking the videos and sharing it with your peers. I would greatly appreciate it. Also, let me know if you have any questions or other requests for videos. You can email me: PMHNP101@gmail.com

Hello. I am not really good at navigating your page and your videos. I finished the psychiatric nurse practitioner program a while ago and need to review for the boards. Could you please tell what order of your videos that you recommend I view them in 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Hello Kenneth. You can watch any videos. There is no particular pattern to watch but I do recommend watching the last minute reviews towards the end as a review. Hope this helps. You got this!
Thanks for the review. Correction at min 28:27 you're rather discussing the atypical antipsychotics When serotonin is blocked by SDA dopamine increases therefore ACh decreases which causes a decrease in EPSE. Tuberoinfundibular: dopamine inhibits prolactin. The blockage of dopamine by SDA causes prolactin to increase causing galactorrhea and gynecomastia. Typical antipsychotics is only D2 blockage the release of the EPSE is profound
Thank you for the feedback. Yes you are correct. In the video, I discuss antipsychotics effects on these pathways and didn’t specify typical and atypical.
Thank you for your video, referring to purple book page 236, how come Schizophrenia is linked with *increase* glutamate but your video says *decrease* glutamate
Bromocriptine stimulates centrally located dopaminergic receptors resulting in a number of pharmacological effects. Various subtypes of dopamine receptors are D1,D2.,etc. Bromocriptine has potent agonist activity of D2 like receptors. Bromocriptine is a partial agonist or antagonist of D1 receptors. Hope this clarifies your questions.
The content of EPS and its treatments are incorrect… propranolol is not first line treatment for a majority of these. Please refer to the ANCC Purple Book, Sadock, or Stahls Neuropsychopharmacology books as valid resources.
Actually you’re both right (kinda). EPS comes in many flavors. Obviously if there is tardive dyskinesia it has to do with dopamine so propranolol is not going to do anything. A VMAT would tho. If it’s pseudo Parkinson’s, yes inderal can thwart the shakes. Depends on MOA of the EPS
Sorry Renee. I’m sure it is boring and it is long but on the bright side it’s free, and it’s helpful towards the boards if you want to pass. Good luck!
That comment is super rude. I often wonder why people feel the need to act like this online. Thank you so much and it's not boring at all, I listen a lot!!

Hi Yixi. It’s decreased glutamate for negative symptoms of schizophrenia. Refer to page 70. Table 5-2.
