Thanks for watching and commenting Jilly. I had so many questions on the first video I thought a follow-up would be good.

Hi I am in the Uk but your diagrams showing how the wires feed in and out are really helpful. The only problem I found is that getting the original covers off the wires leaves them short so it is quite fiddly getting them to a decent length again. I’m just waitin for Amazon the send me dimmable bulbs.

Why does light switch on without human contact?

Where did you find the bulbs? I'm looking for a replacement but can't seem to find them anywhere.

Amazon and Dollar Tree are where we have gotten our bulbs. The Dollar tree ones have actually done better.

My lamp says use a Type A 6O watt bulb
But the ones I bought are not dimmable 😬
Am i supposed to by a 3 way bulb instead?
Please help !!! I just got the lamp so I’m not sure.
      Thank you in advance ❤

I have a touch lamp, but it seems to be rusted what do you recommend? Everything else seems to be fine just the metal piece seems to have rusted

Without knowing the type of metal I don't have any suggestions. For cast iron you can use 50% vinegar and water but that could eat the coating on the lamp. Maybe you could have it sand blasted and replated? This is outside my area of understanding.
