Never expect a game dev community have something like this. This is really open my mind to what modern society can do. Thanks for the great video that also show love and respect to the team behind this brilliant piece!
please don't stop! I can't tell you how much I have seen this video of yours and the other videos and I can tell you I LOVE THEM SO MUCH! I have seen this in particular 4 time and it contain information that will help me as an indie game developer! Thank you so much
Those are super kind words, Sarah and mean so much! I'm definitely not stopping but there have just been some personal family difficulties, making it harder these past few months to finish the current video. I'm definitely pushing through though and I'm excited for your journey as an indie dev! Thanks again Sarah 🙂
@@hidden_characters Take your time, I hope things are getting better now and you feel way good now! As long as you take care of yourself, everything will be alright! Thanks to you :D
Wow! Quality video, really interesting. I've been watching a lot about Tunic in the last few days and some interviews with Shouldice, so the algorithm pointed me to this video and im glad it did. Subscribed!
What an incredibly well-researched video. Like, seriously thank you for pulling all of this information together! Is there anything by chance you COULDN’T find answers to that you’re dying to know?
thank you for this inspirational video. It is 1 year old, and its the first time i see it. I had a question maybe you could answer. At what point do you copyright to protect your work? Adding people to a developing game must be an awesome experience, but also dangerous if you have not set up protection against property theft. This anxiety is whats been holding me back and keeping my games locked up as solo projects.
Thats an excellent question, Amar and I'd assume that outside of his own savings, he received financial support from publisher, Finji early in the dev cycle. Thanks for watching!
@@hidden_characters wow that's pretty amazing, having 5 or so years worth of cash saved up to complete a passion project...I can only dream of being able to do that. It becomes harder to do something like that when you have family...plus mortgage! 😀

Family life really changes things for sure! But it's not uncommon for publishers to lend a hand.
Great video sir
Thank you Glen!
I didn't have video games until I was 9 so I can't relate to being 5 and not being able to read the manual or on screen stuff.
