This was the original score for the scene where Jack draws the portrait of Rose. James Cameron Didn’t think that this fit into the scene so the piano solo was used instead

I do remember reading "The Portrait" was just the sample James Horner had given/shown to James Cameron, to give his review and see whether he liked it. Hence, the title: "The Portrait" because it was a portrait of what the sound of the movie was going to be like. Not that the Piano version would end up being used for the scene of Jack drawing Rose. It also makes sense for the above version not having been used in the movie. Due to the fact it didn't need much grandeur, like hymns or percussions etc. Just a piano instrumental was enough. More than enough was said.
I love 💕 this movie when I was little boy i watched how Jack is an awesome artist o love it how well he drew rose a picture of her it's so beautiful 😍
